Literally picked up the exact one you’re wearing in this vid because of your vid last year (the hybridge you were wearing last year was sold out at the time). I reckon it’s worth it because you get a lifetime guarantee with it from Canada Goose where they’ll either fix any issue with your jacket and if they can’t they’ll replace it. Yeah it’s expensive but you’re literally getting the jacket for life. Cheaper in the long run than buying a new jacket every winter. Great vid nonetheless Josh, short and to the point 👌🏻

why would you need to 'buy a new jacket every winter', do your jackets break every winter? Most people's jackets of reasonable quality last a few years or more.

Canada goose isn’t bought for the name, it isn’t like a £3000 Gucci coat designed purely for fashion, it’s a winter coat designed for extremely cold temperatures. The price is cheap considering how great the jacket is, you can pay more for any regular coat from a premium brand

I think the egg shell Gucci Puffer Jacket is insanely cool, saw her on Booba (famouse french rapper), she's also in Goose down, probably and clearly hot enough for UK winter, go ahead, 800£ for a à Puffer or à even a parka, that's really expensive, even if the Gucci one cost the double but you have the right to buy expensive thing's, your not a kid, that's you fucking problem.

I have this exact jacket in navy. It’s the best coat I have ever had, and I won’t go back to any other branded jacket, it’s extremely comfortable, really lightweight, has some awesome features such As a huge inside pocket, and most importantly it’s extremely warm, suitable for 0 to -15 degrees. Last year I had a north face coat (£225) but the fit and comfort was no where near my CG. it is expensive, but it’s the best jacket I’ve ever owned. It’s pricey, but you have to play for quality.

I’ve been hearing that it’s very warm and I live in New Jersey and the winter here can be very bad. I hate having to put 50 hoodies just so I can be warm. Canada Goose WAS worth it 5 years ago before the sudden 50% price jump. I bought my Chilliwack in 2015 for $595 and Langford for $725. Canada Goose is now increasing the MSRP of their parkas by another $100USD across the board again for 2021 models. Definitely no longer worth it. Anyone paying $1150 for a Langford today is just in it for the fashion.

Saying that I do have a CG lockport jacket for warmer days (10-15.c) as the mcmurdo is too warm for those kind of temps if you do any activity (i.e walk). Prob be OK if you're just going to be standing around though.

it's only 50% more than north face and patagonia, but has lifetime warrenty, and slightly higher fill power and down ratio. if you r looking for something a bit more high end then the everyday north face/patagonia, then it's not bad. way cheaper than Moncler or Burberry, which is double the price of a canada goose lol, now those are paying for the brand name in my opinion.

not gonna lie mate the lodge jacket isn’t a very good jacket to use to review canada goose quality, like you said it’s the cheapest jacket you can get. Get a macmillan or wyndham parka and I promise you that you won’t of felt a warmer or better quality coat

These two CG are popular I got whyndam black label myself :) with the freedom to remove hood as well as just the fur itself.
It keeps me warm with just a tee on in a very cold day I've felt it...
What I like about whyndam is that its slim fitted and the real fur is so nice :))

@@momoz283 Very true about just wearing a tee underneath.
I always say if you see someone wearing a CG jacket/coat in anything more than a tee, it's fake! lol

Agreed. The level of quality and warmth is insane.
I took one on holiday to Canada during winter time. One day decided to wear the jacket with just a tee, I was shocked, I had to unzip it half way becoase I was roasting lol.

Hi Josh I hope you are well and I’m hoping you can help me .. I’m trying to buy the Canada goose lodge jacket but the problem is that I tried medium in the shop and it was too small.. the buy their said a large or xl would be good ( but these were out of stock). I need to order online and don’t know which to get .. I am pretty built and bulky but I’m not that tall about 5.10 at most . Would be grateful of ur opinion ..

I recommend a Medium unless you want a snug fit, then I'll go Small. Do not go Large. I'm 5'9 / 160 and Medium is perfect. Regular fit so there's still room to layer if you want.

So many buy CG jackets for the status. Don't really need them. And in this case....this down jacket ...will only be good when it's cold and not snowing hard. Or snowing wet snow. And doesn't rain. I 'm from Canada. :)
Don't for get about "winter pants and boots". So many talk about the CG jackets....havne't found any videos about the CG insluded/waterproof pants and boots.
