Thanks for this video! My Kenmore 52 (dream machine) came with a box of accessories, and I had no idea how to use these feet.

I have owned this box of attachments to my vintage sewing machine for about 45 years without having any idea what to do with them! Obviously it wasn't a vintage machine when I got it, just a second-hand buy. Thanks for this great video. Can't wait to try hemming some shirts I've been dreading.

You're the greatest for showing this! Just found all of these attachments and had no idea how to use them.

A lot of people own them and have no idea what there for. I use them quit often simply because im lazy. Im not gonna spend hours pressing and pinning. Or sew super slow and fold over carfully to keep it even. No way simpler to learn how to use these.

Hello, I would like to know what is the name of that adapter for the old Greist Hemmer cakes. If possible, you can send me the link from where I can buy and I have a machine brought in these feet and I can not use it.

They came as a set that Knuckle is what all the hemmers attach to. :)

So I ordered a great set of hemming feet. Unfortunately the knuckle, while for a zig zag, is for a high shank not low shank. Do you know of a source to find the low shank knuckle new or used?

It can just be sure you get the one ment for Straight Stitching machines. Those are harder to find. But I like this system better then the simco adjustable foot.

Hey thanks for posting! Just picked up a box of these but the seller didn't have any info on them and I wasn't aware that they were for a straight stitch model. They do work on my vintage Zig Zag Kenmore, but is there anything that I should be aware? Any issues using these straight stitch attachments on Zig Zag machines? Thanks!

I cant say ive used the SS attachments on a ZZ machine. But are you 100 percent sure there SS attachments? As the SS ones are kinda rare and hard to find sometimes, and the Zig Zag ones are super common came with a lot of Kenmore Machines. If you have those then you can ZZ stitch hemming or put patterns in your hemming.

@@SewSaveMe I'm pretty sure that they were meant for a straight stitch machine because the attachment is very narrow where it touches the feed dogs, in fact, the feed dogs lie just outside of the surface area of the feet. I didn't get them with my machine, they were purchased from a woman who didn't know what she had, and they came in a box labelled "rotary". The ruffler foot worked (albeit not with the best results) and I haven't tried the hemming feet yet so I was wondering if the fact that it doesn't actually make contact with the feed dogs would be problematic.
