good singing and what a sweet couple you are! My heart melted when Jen enjoyed your singing!
At 47:33, there is mention of Atticus having flings with several ladies. I remember there being an ad in the paper from some woman who was newly arrived in London and looking for employment. I'm guessing that's the woman with whom Atticus had a fling on the ship. Check out that ad!
watching this in 2020. Being sick in 2015 seems so unconcerning
T.R.? Teddy Roosevelt! But seriously, at 35:51, I don't think the article about the tramps stealing $300 is important for this case just b/c it mentions Alabama. After all, this is an Alabama newspaper, isn't it? I did notice that the restaurant, Simpsons, was near the river, and weren't the bodies found near the river?? This is interesting but I'd love to be able to look at the stuff myself rather than trying to remember everything. It's sort of like putting together a jigsaw puzzle without looking but having someone describe the pieces to you. But I'm thinking there's a reason she likes to go to Simpsons besides the food. Perhaps one of the waiters treats her especially well b/c he's trying to win her affections. OK, back to our story!
Sorry to post so many comments! I just wanted to say how remarkable it is for one person to come up with this story, with all the clues, making the newspapers and other graphics, etc.!! I could see doing this if one was a professional mystery writer, but otherwise, I'm amazed! There are many video runthroughs of this game on YT, and I wonder how they are doing it w/o solving (and spoiling) the 1st case in the actual game? Was this case sent directly to you to use in your runthrough?
yeah, it's very impressive. the publisher would be smart to contact him, as he's got a lot of great ready made content for them :)
iirc i had posted on boardgamegeek about how i was having a hard time figuring out how to do a runthrough for SH, and he saw that and contacted me with a solution
I can't believe they didn't get Troy's last name when they went to see the band! Or did I miss something? OK, I have GOT to quit pausing this video to blurt out comments, or I am NEVER going to get thru it!
thumbs up for singing the song ;) also: great gameplay and great review, thanks! Does the author of those "non-base-game" scenarios make them available on BGG or something?
It was Colonel Mustard in the Conservatory with the pipe!
Great performance Rahdo!
46:06 "Putting down his violin" If they were playing cowboy (folk) music, that would have been called a fiddle, not a violin. That's not a clue, of course, just an observation of the word choice of the writer. Carry on.
+starlinguk yup, that's one of her pieces! :)
Radoslaw, he hasn't done yet
16:50
Nice use of your mental powers to close that book, since Graves is not in it.
:)
I watched this late..but wasn't there a cane missing? and wasn't there a cane found in the paper?
+Eden Hansen ah ha!!!
Very disappointed we didn't get to see the rest of the story... :/
Is Jen wearing one of her own creations around her neck? It looks pretty.
