Sorry but that’s not his area. Our police can’t police the world. It’s their country’s responsibility to sort that out. I used to work at a London radio station and had the misfortune of working with/meeting some of these disgusting individuals. Glitter and Saville stood out because they carried a really awful vibe with them & Glitter seemed particularly menacing. There were/are others but I found Glitter frightening - and I was in my mid-30s. He should be allowed nowhere but inside a prison for the rest of his life.
I was a young teenager when Glitter was in his hey day. I used to go to our local ice rink a lot. When they played his records, we left the ice and went into the cafe where we couldn't hear him. I was probably 14 or 15 at the time and even then we knew there was something sinister about him. That song "Do You Wanna Touch Me?" still give me the creeps even to this day and I'm 66 now. He's one that should be put down.

Unfortunately that is the fault of the justice system . He served the amount of his sentence required by our laws, the same as murderers, rapists etc who are released after serving a portion of their sentence.

I agree that castration should be mandatory for offenders like this. That being said, I don't know if a castrated Gary Glitter or Ian Watkins would be any less dangerous. I believe the deviance of these people is deeper than just sexual compulsion. I think they quite simply enjoy being as bad as they can be. They're sadistic and antisocial personalities.

A dear friend of mine was a Met Police officer involved in child abuse cases.Part of his job was having to view child pornography.He commited suicide as a result.There is a support system to help officers cope with the mental damage having to watch such material.He didn't seek help.
