- In today's video we decided to try and bring a little Disney home with us on a day where we can't go to the parks. What is the best way to have a Disney At Home day? Making home made Mickey shaped pretzels and home made Mickey Premium Bars of course! The Mickey shaped pretzels turned out to be a lot harder to make than we thought it would be! It is basically just a few ingredients! We used the recipe over at www.allrecipes.com/recipe/242... For the Mickey Premium Bars we just kinda winged it and used vanilla ice cream, magic shell and craft sticks! All in all we had a really fun night trying to replicate these iconic Mickey shaped snacks! Thank you for watching and we'll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

Jen, since you asked what the first mickey shaped snack was, I did a little bit of research (as in little I mean about an hour) and there wasn’t a first mickey shaped snack, because multiple restaurants opened at the same time when Disneyland opened. But the most popular Mickey shaped snack in 1955 was (drumroll please) The Mickey Waffle!!!
I hope this answers your question!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Willow Spencer yum! I love the mickey shaped waffles!
Thank you for doing the leg work... That's awesome...
Shiny pretzels are boiled like bagels. The solution you dunked them in gave the color :) also you can brush them with melted butter if too dry
You don't boil Pretzels! They get shiny, because they normaly get dunked in lye.
lennsa you’re supposed to boil them before baking! Promise. Lol
Oh, sorry forgot this step. XD
Y’all are wrong on both accounts. It has nothing to do with Lye or boiling. It is literally just dipping them in clarified butter
@@xyzagirl bretzen have to be boiled in lye, that's literally the preparation method, if you don't do that, it aint a bretzel
Brushing with egg yolk will make them shiny. Great project! :)
You guys are too cute. I have to admit I really have only watched your videos with Adam the woo. BUT you two are worth watching, very adorable. I'm happy for you livin the Disney dream!
Tim and Jenn, use beaten eggs on your pretzels before you cook them, it makes them shiny!
Peyton yes! I was gonna say that!!! Just the beaten yolk is fine as well! Makes the pretzel super shiny 😃
Ya'll are troopers - thanks for the rainy day fun!
My whole family is big into baking and pretzels are the one thing we always struggle with! There’s just so many steps involved, it’s such a hassle. Usually they’re boiled in the baking soda water. Love your guys Disney snack vlogs!
Bottom line, you guys had a fun afternoon. Thanks for sharing.
My wife and I watched this, the churros looked just right.. The inside of the pretzel looked perfect.
honestly the Mickey premium bars turned out better than i expected. Well done!
Hey Tim and Jenn, this was such a fun video to watch! The thing that makes pretzels shiny is actually butter. An easier way to get more salt on them is to spray the top of the pretzel with water and then dip the top of your pretzel in a bowl/plate of salt. Can’t wait to see what you guys make next 😁
Guys.. I am seriously impressed. These both came out amazing!
You get the shine by putting an egg wash on it before you bake it. Well done!
You know what really great? 😀How supportive Tim and Jenn are of one another! My husband would straight up blame me, and say you do it! Relationship goals! My husband needs to watch your channel
Y’all totally nailed it!
You two are so adorable and awesome at the same time
Thank you so much for sharing with us each day! I really do enjoy and learn too.
Wow! You guys really went for it! Great job Tim & Jenn.
Love your home vlogs 💗
Those Vlogs are my favorites... HOME VLOG!!!! OMG !!! LOOK SOOOOOOO GOD!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Looks like you had great fun, and a perfect way to spend the day when it’s stormy ⛈ outside. 🥨🍦💑 xxx
It is nice to watch you two! The right thing after work!! And it looked sooo good!!! We love all your videos, thank you so much!!
Sooo fun! Mickey mediocre bar!! 🍦
Great way to spend a rainy day. Can’t beat a Disney snack. Fab effort you two xx
Tim is so encouraging, i love it! both of those snacks look delishhhhh!!
I love Disney at Home days!! Thank you for sharing!! We will try this at home.. thank you for sharing!!
JessicaLynnOriginal yeah my favorite ice cream is the slow churned varieties because they’re so soft, if they ever try again I’d suggest using Just grocery store brand
Agreed!! :D
Home vlogs are my favorite!! Been re watching 2014-2015 vlogs & this takes me back. Love love love
Jen's shirt is the most amazing thing ever!!! I love it!
OMG they look absolutely amazing, fabulous effort guys - wish I could try them!
Were expecting rain in SC for about the next week. But you guys always look like you're having fun when you're working together.
Mickey bars are my fave. Love this video!
Magic Shell was actually a pretty brilliant call!
I have the same mixing bowls and a similar dog situation. Top notch time lapse of the dough. I just really liked that for some reason.
Love watching you all cook Disney style!! Very enjoyable :)
Loved this video Tim & Jen...I love how you doubt yourselves and are triumphant...keep up the good work. From Wiltshire 🇬🇧
Homemade pretzels are amazing! If you try them again, brush with some melted butter...so good! If you try the ice cream, maybe get an inexpensive Mickey cookie cutter!! Yours looks great ! You should make the LeCellier Canadian Beer Cheese Soup (recipe on Allears site). which is amazing an would go well with those pretzels or if you use the dough to make pretzel rolls! BTW, I am not sure how much baking soda you used but it should be about 1/4 cup in boiling water ...I usually lower the pretzels in with a slotted spoon or spatula that seals the dough right away and you should get shiny pretzels like in the park. Also you can use the same technique for bagels! Buon Appetit!
I made the AllEars LeCellier Cheddar Cheese Soup about a month ago. I followed the tips that were in the blog describing how make it since I've never tried to make anything that complex. My wife thought it came out perfect!! Follow this: land.allears.net/blogs/allearsteam/2017/12/anyone_can_cook_cheddar_cheese_1.html
Oh I love remaking your Disney snacks. My husband and I redid the hamburger egg roll! Can’t wait to try these.
Jen wins the game!!!
I LOVE making homemade bread and pretzels, so I'm happy to know these recipes too :)
i find it very relaxing watching the two of you...
I finally got to Disney this year. It was pouring rain the whole time! Worse yet Tim stayed home and made pretzels so I didn't get to see him filming ducks in the park. Still had a great time.
"These pretzels are definitely making me thirsty." Hahahahahaha
Kramer! Hahahahaha!
Seinfeld reference lol I can picture an angry George Costanza saying that
AMAZING!!! You two make me smile so much
More of this please Tim!
This is amazing and was so exciting! You guys are so talented! Thanks for sharing and I can't wait to try this
Ok, now I want to try this! What a fun way to spend a rainy day. 😊
Awesome 👏 work you guys!!!
Looks really good 😋
Looks delicious!
Such good team work! You don't know what you're doing, but together you get good results!
Love it!! Great job!
Why do you guys make me so ding dang happy?
What a fun rainy day activity!
I love the idea of making the premium I've cream bar
Great job guys.
I used to work on a pretzel stand and the “shine” is only melted butter. Missing the plastic cheese thou! 🤣 Great vlog! ❤️
All I can think of watching this vlog is yummmmmm yummmmm delicious well done Tim and Jenn xx
Ding Dang!
💚 Mickey Pretzels 💙
You guys are legit the cutest couple! I'm just saying, I never watch your videos without smiling! 💕💕💕
Good job guys!!!
Great work guys!!!
Fab video :) thx you for sharing x
I'm so excited to make these! Thanks for the inspiration.
Ding dang that is awesome, I'm going to have to try the Mickey bar.
I made some of my own!! Thank you for the confidence!!
Oh and dump the magic shell into a wide cup so you can dip the ice cream into it :). Looks yummy
Hello Tim and Jen.... I loved your pretzel making... I giggled at you Jen... So funny... Well worth it!!!
Tim just wrap the dough around the hot dog and bake we do it all the time it's beautiful
Wow! I might have to try these Mickey snacks! Thanks for sharing your day with us!
25 min of Tim & Jen, yes please! I need to make Mickey shaped snacks now! 🤤
Listening to you two whilst you were rolling the dough has literally made my weekend 😝😝 “I only wanted to make ONE pretzel”
They both turned out so nice! Those Mickey Premium bars looked delicious! You guys should try making Mickey shaped rice krispies treats! Maybe little holiday ones close to Halloween?
I love you guys. Really cheers me up.
Your Mickey bars and pretzels look awesome. Such great snacks to get at Disney
What a fun way to spend a rainy day. Great job!
1:08 is my favorite part! So adorable, Tim!
Both things turned out fantastic well done guys - feel like I need to try this some time
You know it's jam-packed when the home vlog is 25 mins, lol. 👍
I love these episodes!! You guys did great!!!
I made pretzels once and you had to boil it for a minute before baking.
Michelle Sharon yeah, boiling in the baking soda mixture helps form the shiny hard outside crust
I also used pretzel flour, not sure if that made a difference. I made bagels with regular flour once, boiled it before baking and it didn't give them the shiny outside.
When we "made" them at the parks (epcot) they are premade and packaged, we simply had to salt them and warm them, they are superpretzel brand
I figured that.
If your water is hot its the same thing as boiling. if you dont believe me go watch aunty ann video on how to make
Good job you two!
Great job!!
Looked yummy! Great job.
Watching this vlog as i am in the plane heading for my new job at Disney!!!
What a fun idea! You should try making the ice cream bars with the mickey shape cookie cutter.
AWESOME!!!
Another great vid, you guys really brighten my days.
Loved this
I love this editing Jenn!!
This was so cute!!!! looked awesome!
also in terms of stuffed pretzels, i would think you would roll the dough flat.. put a line of the filling and then roll it into a log keeping the filling on the inside
Awesome video!!! Love the DIY!! ❤️🥨
I loved this video. You guys are so cute! The ice cream mickeys looked great!
Good afternoon guys. Home vlog awesome cant beat mickey snacks at home. Have a great Wednesday Mike
If you let the dough rest for a minute or two, the dough relaxes and allows you to stretch and roll it out, and it won't stretch back.
You guys should make more cooking videos and I love those kitchen cabinets
Great job guys!! The Mickey pretzel on the upper right (when you take the out of the oven) looks like a Tim Tracker Mickey pretzel!! :)
Yeah several people have mentioned it already, but the boiling step for the pretzels. That brings the shine and crispiness... just be careful. Getting a steamed facial or hands not fun, but the outcome is worth it. Great job on those Disney DIYs!!!!!
Jenn You did a GREAT job, Experience is the best Way to Learn & Tim is always there for support. Tim is the *BEST* #MickeyPretzels #MickeyPremiumBars #Teamwork #TheTrackers
You both did a great job!! Enjoyed watching your video 👍👍
I’m definitely going to try making the premium bars 🤗
