Alfactory capabilities (smelling, tasting etc) vary person to person. It also vary with groing age. Sense of smelling is again totally subjective. It can be develop by practice only. Video instructions helps but to a very little extent. It is a practical knowledge which can be gained and developed by practice of years. Keep on practising.
First you need to practice over the whiskies having totally different taste. So you can differentiate them.Try smokey and fruity whiskies side by side. Then bourbon and scotch. Then single malt with blended. It helps you dipping your toe.

Different liquors/whiskies don't have different effects on your brain, they all have the same effect. The degree of drunkenness/sensation of other effects depends on how much liquor you have consumed.

I’m a big fan of WT101 and I’m enjoying this for more than a decade plus, courtesy lovely friends who are generous who are travelling abroad more than me. 😄 Even in Canada as a matter of fact, this stuff is not easily available. I'll probably be faster than Manish in the answer, it's The Glencairn Glass, it's called the official whiskey tasting glass; (in Europe 1 piece costs from 4 euros+, but there are also crystal cut variants, then 1 piece costs from 20 euros and more ). The glass is really nice and deserves a quality drink. Enjoy!
Definitely one of the best Bourbons. If you get a chance please review the Long Branch version of this bourbon, it is very nice. As far as I am concerned, Woodford Reserve is the best bourbon. Please review that also.

Hmm, I live in the EU but the mentioned price ????; 2 types of Wild Turkey Bourbon are sold in Europe; 81, it is not so strong, 1 liter for about 25 euros per liter and more, but here we are talking about WT 101 and 1 liter costs about 32 euros and more. Anyway, Wild Turkey 101, Buffalo Trace and Gentleman Jack are not bad bourbons at all.
The best way to enjoy this whiskey is in Old-Fashioned and with Coke. Manish bhai, I promise you, if you try either of those, it will become your go to opd fashioned and whiskey-coke combo and you too will start singing praises of it.

I was introduced to this whisky in 2019 and yes am a big fan. The 51% ABV really changes the game. Easily one of my favourite bourbon.
