I was going to mention in one of your videos that Screw Drivers have insane scaling capabilities. Because they scale with Engineering and Melee dmg both at 50% you can take both stats and reap the rewards from both, and, of course, Because you're going for all screw drivers, and Because they are melee weapons, they spawn both more melee related items in shop, AND engineering stuff. I've had it to the point where the entire map was covered with Landmines. When I say that I mean that my explosion radius was high enough on them that they'd cover so much area they'd detonate and hit a massive amount of enemies. 1/3 to 1/4 of the whole map
That's true, though much less so on classes other than Apprentice where you have to buy the stats - scaling 50% engineering and melee is quite a bit worse than 100% scaling on either, since you aren't getting any sort of discount. It gives you more opportunities to take damage, but you pay twice as much per point as another class. They're definitely awesome with enough explosion radius and cooldown though!
they can be viable on any class, though with lots more pain involved in making them so, still it never ceases to be hilarious to watch a bunch of aliens just vanish and get an ear rapey hit sound from all the simultaneous hits from the explosion.
Just started playing brotato, thanks for content. Watching to get more insights into the game. Got to danger 5 quite quickly but struggling hard to win danger 5
Fun build, I will have to try something similar. Just started playing the game myself, don't even have all of the characters unlocked yet, but it is good to see the random runs.
Me encantan tus videos, super divertidos, i beat all the clases 1 time in the original game, so now i can chill seing others play, saludos desde uruguay!
Random thought, have you considered doing a Brotato and other indie games podcast? I’ve been interested in getting one or two regular Brotato fans to talk about the game and some of the other indies we’ve been playing. Brotato is my main game but I also play a good bit of Tiny Rogues which I recommend you try since you seem to enjoy roguelites with RPG stats and item management. 😊
Cool idea! Personally I like making gameplay videos, though I do keep meaning to recommend some other games to people on this channel. If you get that podcast going though definitely drop a link here!
35:23 It's not actually fewer mines Legendary screwdriver produce same amount as two epic (Why not type unnecessary coments when creater asking for them, lol)
I think the Torture + Extra Stomach worked really well together, ended up with +44 health off the stomach, since you almost always had full health. It also looks like the Torture heal blocking ends when the round ends? So consumables will heal any you're missing at the end, and then extras still get added to your max HP? Maybe that extra garden would have still been worth it!
Also thought about it. Also it seems that torture + extra stomach is pretty bad combo, since torture blocks any bonuses from consumables at the end of round if you're not full health.
It actually does seem to work. At the end of round 19 he's at 108/115, but then heals to 115 off the consumables and gets another 4 max health off the extra. And it doesn't block the 1 health you "gain" from the increased max like it does during the round
I totally forgot to think about how the two would interact, I'm glad it didn't break completely. Also definitely forgot I had extra stomach when I turned down garden, oh well!
Nice on the random/random win. But I think two nukes and the sledge might be bending the rules a bit too far... The level four nuke, sure. Because, yeah, it's a level four nuke. The the other two seems like a stretch.
Fair enough! I think the explosives still fit the theme and one of the cool things about Apprentice is that you *can* switch weapons, so I wanted to use that part of the class
Ceph looking at a screwdriver and a nuke.."aahh, its basically the same thing.."
This game has rules; one of them is "you shall not pass on a nuclear launcher".
Truth!

@@Cephalopocalypse heard you mention in one of your vids and have been checking them out. Been taking the time to unlock everything first though.
Fun build, I will have to try something similar. Just started playing the game myself, don't even have all of the characters unlocked yet, but it is good to see the random runs.
This one was super fun! Also of course if there's any characters you're stuck on, check out my guide for that class :D

The screwdrivers basically had 75% melee damage scaling because they scaled on engineering

True! I always forget how efficient the tier 4 screwdriver upgrade is. Always appreciate the comments, thanks! :D

Good run
fun videos!
would like to know your endless build
Thanks! Some endless videos should be coming soon!
very cool run
Yeah this one ended up way more fun than I expected
The nukes showing up in the shop was still random. You just beat Random/Random at its own game. 😉
i really want to see plank apprentice build.
not buying damage or life steal, but buying hp feels bad.
Comment for the algorithm
I commented REAL hard!
EXCELLENT!
I snack everything :/
The right way to do it for sure!
these vids are so good mate
Thanks!
