I'm just getting into the idea of creating my own CC but I never know what to click on TS4 studio, it seemed so complicated, but these 2 videos were SO helpful, the tutorial was very easy to follow and you explain perfectly. I hope you keep making more tutorials like this!
Wow. Good job! Your voice is so relaxing; I enjoy your slight accent and your down-to-earth vibe. I can't wait to try my hand at CC creation now! You have given me the confidence and inspiration to begin streaming again. Thank you, keep it up!!
yay i might actually try this!! there's some base game items that i've wanted recolors for for so long. thank you for sharing this & i can't wait to see your fall collection
you should! I recently added pink swatches to some base game objects. Base game pinks are... something else. That purple swatch that's listed as pink makes me not want to do a base game build. lol
“I have these ideas that are not really based in reality.” Lmao I love you 😂 That completed outfit was very cute. Still too complicated for me 😂 I’m utterly hopeless!
@@simsina I really don’t know why I can’t comprehend stuff like this! I never could! I changed my major from graphic design to fine arts because I nearly failed! 😅And I think it should be in my banner, too! 😂
As someone who is not professional at Photoshop or CC making, I get it.... I felt that certain details like that should be covered in a video that supposed to be beginners tutorial. Thank you very much, you made my day!!
You did really good thank you for your videos so very helpful for when l decide to try make my own sim clothes. I’m a bit scared it looks a lot but you made it look not so bad. Thanks again. ❤❤❤
i just tried this myself and it was so easy!! what i did instead of using the paint tool is i did the free select, then copied the image i wanted after scaling down and pasted into selection and it worked the same way!
ahaaa so that's how how it's done! nice. Been making my own cc since December 2021 using gimp, but I never figured out how to add patterns this way. :) ty for this tutorial.
theres no turning back now, im addicted to recoloring sim items lol. the tutorial was really easy for it to my surprize and im just like "now i can make maxis items match!!" and i can re-color CC i use for my own personal use now too. it annoys me so much when theres a set and one of the items doesn't have the colors that the rest of the items in the set do and it sticks out like a sore thumb so im glad i finally know how to re-color. this will help A LOT when i get into recoloring CAS stuff, which might be a long while for me. next is learning how to actually model in blender so i can mesh my own items :D that's the hard part...
Agreed. Blender is on a whole another level. There're still a couple of tricks that would be very useful before getting into the Blender part. I need to get back to making videos asap. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment!! It means a lot!!
It's a font that I downloaded. This person gathered a list of various different simlish fonts if you want to check them out: franzillasims.tumblr.com/post/152287704681/giant-list-of-simlish-fonts-collect-em-all-do I think this is where I got mine if I'm remembering correctly.
i was trying to recolor a coffee mug, and found a new trick while playing around in GIMP. if you go through and select the layer you want to recolor, and it has shadows on it, select the layer your just fuzzy select outlined, and right click in the selection, and select layer}Duplicate layer. and then click the original in the side bar, select the original selected layer and erase that selection, then add your print with the copied shadows over the top. it has helped me SO MUCH. my pictures where turning out glitchy and i couldnt figure out why no matter how much i resized them, im still trying to figure out how to keep the image looking HD when i put it on the object..
I made some custom picture frames with my artwork in and the latest update and cottage living WILL NOT let me use them, I've tried remaking them in The Sims 4 Studio and that hasn't worked. I've tried batch fixing them and that doesn't seem to work either. Any ideas?
@@simsina Yes but they keep disabling as soon as I restart. It comes up with a window saying mods disabled because they may conflict with the last update. I've tried deleting my options and repairing the game still the same.
@@RaelDanger that's a rough one. Try to move your entire Sims 4 folder to another place on your computer (so that you keep your files backed up) and restart your computer so that it generates a new Sims 4 folder. Open your game and enable mods. Close game. Move your CC to your mods folder. Open game and I'm hoping it will work!
(Edit:) I have somehow gotten past my previous issue but now Thesims4 studio adds the shirt mesh to the head instead of the chest... How do I fix this?
Hi, new here! THANK YOU for this video!!! I was clueless on how to make cc clothing, now I'm much better at it. I have a question. I want to make cc for my toddler. All that comes up in Sims Studio 4, is short sleeves and dresses. No long sleeves or jackets. Is there something I am doing wrong? I see people make cc for toddler in long sleeves all the time. I also subscribed to your channel as well.
hey thanks for making this i was able to make my first recolor but i am having difficulty placing my own patterns sine gimp is lowkey a bit complicated and i was wondering if theres another free good software to use?
hm, I really don't know. I'd usually recommend Photoshop or GIMP. I know InkScape is something people use and I wanted to try it for a while now, just never got around.
of course! Not sure which one so I'll send you both! The dotted pattern: pixabay.com/illustrations/polka-dot-paper-digital-paper-5189460/ The mermaid vector: pixabay.com/vectors/silhouette-mermaid-mermaid-tail-3369858/
