Happy Monday! Cheers to what I hope was an incredible weekend and that your work weeks’ are off to an amazing start. Over the years, I have curated the perfect Fendi Baguette Set for me and thought that I would share my four perfect baguettes with you all. Each different in their own way and serving a purpose in my wardrobe! Feel free to comment any questions you may have below on my current bags or other styles or materials that you may have interest in, as I have owned a variety of them over the years. Enjoy!

omggg, the black baguette STOP IT
Okay so shockingly I actually sold the black but replaced it with an even cooler black in patent with two toned silver and gold hardware so I’ll have to update this video. I may just do a whole Fendi collection at some point
also, side note you are one of the first guys I ever came across doing a bag video YEARS ago on your Chanel briefcase from WGACA and I always thought it was cool and refreshing to see a guy talking about bags and thought one day I would try it and 5 years later, I finally did so better late than never haha. Anyway, hope all is well and thanks for being an inspiring gem on the internet ✨

I love your videos and those of so many others.. to your point, then and now, it's beyond refreshing to see (you actually inspired one of my recent Balenciaga City purchases! So I'm especially flattered you think I'm part of the inspiration.. it was so much fun (and expensive) to contribute to YT haha. Sadly, the Chanel went bye bye a few years ago (biggest cringe / regret). But your note makes me want to get back in the game and create new videos, so many new bags etc in my collection since then.. boy has my style changed! Wow what a beautiful Fendi collection you have Jonathan 🤩 the last one OMG I love it. I’ve recently discovered Fendi and now own two baguettes but not vintage, they’re from this year. I’ve also managed to pre-order the purple rain sequin baguette 😃which will arrive in September, I’ve wanted that bag since it was first aired on SATC but it was impossible to find. My friends all think the sequin bag is tacky but I see it as a classic beauty. Can I ask what do you think of it and would you wear it ?
Hi Yvonne, Congrats and welcome to the baguette family! It’s an iconic bag and a staple from Fendi, in my opinion. I love the purple sequin, it’s divine. I would accept it as a gift as I would really only wear it on special occasions but I probably wouldn’t prioritize purchasing it myself, just based on my style. A few friends have it and love it so I have no doubt, you will adore it if it’s you’re vibe! ✨

Thank you! It doesn’t lolol, I don’t name my bags. Although I enjoy bags, I wouldn’t say I’m a bag obsessed person. I’m more of a fashion and design lover. Bags are in my life to serve a purpose, to carry my things because it’s too much for my pockets and to compliment my outfit of that day. Also, I have particular feelings about naming inanimate objects.

Sadly I don’t recall the year, I would say Early 2000’s. I bought it so long ago…It’s a GEM. I’ve seen ones with the same stitching but never in the same metallic color tone.

Thank you! I don’t know the exact style name. It’s from a few of years ago and they change styles every once in a while to encourage consumers to purchase “updated” models. It’s a baguette with the black enamel and gold logo. Hopefully that helps but I’m not sure if there’s a specific name. The only ones I specifically know by name is the Selleria because it’s a distinctive stitching style and the Karl baguette is literally named that since his face is all over it as a tribute but they don’t tend to name every baguette. More so “special” styles. They green is just considered a classic baguette. Sorry I can’t specify more.
loveeee your collection, I picked up my first fendi and was wondering how did you authenticate them? before purchasing everything seemed to check out but the price I got it for feels like a steal 😭
Congrats on the new bag! Authentication varies based on the years for Fendi Baguettes because they’ve changed the way in which they tag for authentication identifiers, as a number of luxury brands have over the years as counterfeit bag quality has improved. It’s hard to tell you how to do it over text. What I would advice is to use real authentication or one of the well known digital authentication services. They are amazing and the small fee is totally worth the peace of mind! The price you pay doesn’t always correlate with authentication. A number of people simply don’t care about selling for market value or don’t know what they have, even in 2021. I’ve got some amazing deals myself so I would advise to just seek some type of authentication digitally! I use and love RealAuthentication! They do a great job

Hi Jonathan does the Selleria baguette have a serial code/hologram or just the plate as you showed?
I will have to check and get back to you, I know that it is an older style so it’s definitely not RFID and maybe not even a hologram. It’s from back when they still did sterling silver hardware on some bags. I will check and get back to you!
I don’t particular like the baguette style but your vibe, excitement and presentation was enjoyable to watch. I’m also all about that saving and preloved bags. 99% of my bags are preloved .Thanks for sharing and much love.

Pre owened is horrible and not higienic! Bags are never new!
