After you say "I'm hearing all sorts of sounds I don't recognize" for the next 6 to 7 second it literally sounds as if a commercial airline is passing by over your head 😂😂
I am not 100 % sure, but I believe that the ptarmigans sounds are now mixed into the ambient back ground sound, as I have many times during my Deadworld run, swear I can hear them, but have never seen them, as I shouldn't. But then again, I have had a few rabbits spawn that shouldn't either. I have also heard many other creators mention hearing them in places you don't normally see them which has me thinking it is now in the back ground. Your health meter for a NOGOA run is amazing, great job, enjoying the run
Great point, it may be a case of the same or similar sound being mixed into an environment track. Not dissimilar to "bear crows", a unique crow cawing sound mixed into the sounds a bear makes, but much softer and more intermittent than the regular crow noises.
I should look for a gun in this church, it's possible for one to spawn. *Looks everywhere but the one place the revolver is on the bench next to the fire*
That was a great example of hidden in plain site, and we have all done it. I have been trying to do more stopping, and looking at a room or area more like a viewer then a player, it is how I found that skillet I pointed out to you in PV during your stream about fixing the roof. It can be tough to do, to stop yourself and just scan the room.
@@ArchimedesLP at 19:34 you put your cursor directly on it, and it was center of screen at least 2 times after that. It is easy to miss stuff when commentating though as the attention is divided between visual and vocal needs.

Ok, so the sound was at 7:11 and I watched it several times to see if I could identify it. I don't see any ptarmigans but I'm not sure what else it could be. Side note, how do y'all even watch this? This guy is just whipping the camera all over the place🤣🤣

Do noise makers kill ptarmigan? If so would a good strat be to throw one in a group of them go kill them all at once?
Yes, that does work! It's not really necessary later in the game, but it can be useful early(for example if you spawn in Blackrock.)
