Being a good friend is a sign of iman ❤️ When you have genuine connection with a true friend for the sake of Allah, you will taste the sweetness of Iman ...it is priceless and gift from Allah. Etiquettes of friendship: *choose your friends...We are friendly with everyone but we don't befriend everyone....who do you associate with? Choose the friend carefully, surround yourself with the righteous not someone who will harm your Deen and dunya. * Help and take care of eachother. Allah will take care of your needs as long as you are taking care of your friends needs, ask about them and check on your friends. * We go above and beyond, we give gifts to one another, take time to show and appreciate the friendship. * When a friend invites you, you respond to the invitation....1 of the rights of a Muslim over another is to accept and respond to the invitation * Genuinely care for your friend for the sake of Allah. Love for your friend what you love for yourself * You act like a mirror to your friend, prophet Muhammad said the mu'min is a mirror to his friend...a friend should trust you like they trust the mirror * The friend mentions in private and public the good the friend has done. Praise your friend and thank them in private and public * You defend the honour of your friend privately and in public....even if the smear is true you still defend. Defend and make excuse for your friend. * If you discover a personal fault/ personal sin of your friend never publicise or expose them. Whosoever covers the faults of his brother/sister Allah will cover their faults on the day of judgment *Don't be jealous or hate your friends, don't gossip don't spy...don't outbid your friend, if they have made a personal bid don't outbid them to get it for yourself. Muslim are brothers to one another. * Make genuine dua for your friend. Angels will say ameen to your dua and ask Allah to give you the same...don't be stingy...make dua for your friends * Inform your friend that you have a special connection with them...before it's too late make sure your friend knows how much you appreciate them and love them * When the inevitable happens/death.... pray the janazah for your friend. * When your friend is gone keep in touch with their family and friends. Our prophet Muhammad saw was generous to khadijahs friend many years after her death. You do this to indicate that friend that has passed meant something to you * After their death make dua for them, for forgiveness A good friend is like a seller of perfume, you will always benefit from a good friend....either you will purchase the scent or they will gift you the scent or you will be surrounded by their scent/good fragrance Allah will allow batches of sincere friends to enter jannah together. A person will be with those whom they love in jannah. Think long and hard who your friends are and appreciate your friends. O Allah make us be among those who will look out for each other in this DUNYA so we can meet up in jannah and continue being friends by YOUR Mercy! Ameen 💙 🤍 (I pray we all get a chance to make it to JANNAH)
Sometimes allah keeps a soul totally alone but with allah in ibadha no marriage or divorced no friends no offspring total seclusion also in life everyone has a test that nobody knows about when you are in this condition the shayateen are also waiting and a direct enemy it take a lot of perseverence. The shaytan also try to isloate you by turning pple against you and loss of friends that you don't really need but when one is sincere with allah in ibadha. Allah is with them in protection
" Al-Arwaahu junoodun Mujannadah". Means, "Souls are like conscripted soldiers". All Praise is to Allaah. Imaam al-Bukhaari (may Allaah have mercy on him) reported in his Saheeh that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: “I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saying : ‘Souls are like conscripted soldiers; those whom they recognize, they get along with, and those whom they do not recognize, they will not get along with.’” (Saheeh al-Bukhaari, Kitaab Ahaadeeth al-Anbiyaa’, Baab al-Arwaah junood mujannadah) Abu Huraira reported Allaah’s Messenger (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) Saying: Souls are troops collected together and those who familiarised with each other (in the heaven from where these come) would have affinity, with one another (in the world) and those amongst them who opposed each other (in the Heaven) would also be divergent (in the world). (Saheeh Muslim: The Book of Righteousness, Manners, and Joining Ties of Kinship) Abu Huraira narrated directly from Allaah’s Messenger (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) that he said: People are like mines of gold and silver; those who were excellent in Jahiliya (during the days of ignorance) are excellent In Islam, when they have an understanding, and the souls are troops collected together and those who had mutual familiarity amongst themselves in the store of prenatal existence would have affinity amongst them, (in this world also) and those who opposed one of them, would be at variance with one another. (Saheeh Muslim: The Book of Righteousness, Manners, and Joining Ties of Kinship). Explanation of the first hadith: Ibn Hajar (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in his commentary on the hadeeth: “Concerning the phrase ‘Souls are like conscripted soldiers…’ al-Khattaabi said: ‘This may refer to their similarity as regards good or evil, righteousness or corruption. Good people are inclined towards other good people, and evil people are similarly inclined towards other evil people. Souls feel affinity with others according to the nature in which they were created, good or evil. If souls’ natures are similar, they will get along, otherwise they will not be on good terms with one another. It could be that what is being referred to is the beginning of creation in the realm of the unseen when, it is reported, souls were created before bodies, and used to meet one another and express their pessimism about the future. When souls have entered bodies (come to the physical realm) they may recognize one another from the past, and may be on friendly terms or otherwise based on that past experience.” The hadeeth was also narrated by Muslim in his Saheeh, 4773. Al-Nawawi said: “With regard to the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), ‘Souls are like conscripted soldiers; those whom they recognize, they get along with, and those whom they do not recognize, they will not get along with’, the scholars said that the meaning is groups gathered together, or different types. As for them getting along, this happens because of something in common between them that Allaah has created. It was said that they are similar attributes that Allaah has created in them, or that they were created in a group and then dispersed in their bodies, so people who have similar characteristics will like one another, and those who do not have similar characteristics will not like one another. Al-Khattaabi and others said: this getting along with one another has to do with what Allaah decreed from the outset about the ultimate destiny of souls, whether they will be among the blessed [in Paradise] or the doomed [in Hell]. Souls are of two opposing kinds, and when they meet in this physical world, they will either love or hate one another depending on the way they were created. Good souls will be inclined towards other good souls, and evil souls will be inclined towards other evil souls. And Allaah knows best. Source: Islam Q&A, Answer by Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid
