SHOP WITH ME IN THE BIGGEST CLOTHES MARKET IN ACCRA - GHANA | SHOPPING FOR CLOTHES LIKE GHANAIANS DO
Hey All, in this video i share with you a very busy market in Accra Ghana. Most Ghanaians who live within Accra and neighbouring areas buy from this market when they want to buy clothes. Regular boutiques within Ghana are generally not affordable for most locals The market is Kantamanto Market, located within Accra next to Makola market. This Ghana market can be very busy and chaotic, its quite the experience. I hope you enjoy the video xx

Ghana is so similar to Jamaica 🇯🇲 when it comes to culture,i love my culture and everything it is about. Proud Jamaican
Most of slaves brought to Ja were from Ghana, thru d Ivory Coast n kept their traditions. Ivory Coast they mostly speak French. That's y Ja have patwa. The word 'pahto' (owl) is from Ghana
I know that, and I speak fluent patwa and write it as well. Plus we have strong maroon towns in jamaica that speak the Ashanti language and uphold our African culture mix with our own.

Fact, Proud African-Caribbean living in Britain.

6am, me driving to work enjoying the uniqueness of my peoples entrepreneurialism with joy and fun👍👍🇬🇭. Hard working people 👏👏
I agree with you...and the west says Africans are lazy...
Come and see real hustling..
hello beautiful, in Mexico we call this a word of Nahuatl origin, the language of our ancestors. There is also this way of selling things on the streets. I send you a hug from Jalisco Mexico 🇲🇽. God bless you and guide your steps
The jeans seller is a whole vibe lol
AMA my dear, pls use cotton shopping bags. Don’t accept always plastic bags from the vendors to keep Ghana more clean. You know how it locks along the streets. This is how I do it Ghana.❤️
It also helps the vendors. I cringe when she goes to the food markets.
Ghana we are blessed ooh everything you want you will get i miss Ghana ❤❤❤❤
Watching these videos really melts my heart to how hard work my people are. My children have a say #stackorstarve, basically work hard to stack money or starve. In most these video that is basically what my people are displaying making me want to go harder. Thank you for these continue what you are doing for your country. I have a Ghanian friend who lives here in Barbados and he is also very hard working build his own business from nothing now he sells used cars. Peace and be blessed my sister. 🙏🙏🙏
Hope one day God willing to see you in Ghana ,bless 🙏
AKWAABA TO GHANA
I think the city planners of the market did a good thing to give consideration to a car park area
Aisha is really pretty so is Jasmine
And i thought our Nairobi markets are crowded 😀.Loved it!! #KenyanGang
I miss Ghana bend down boutiques Oooh. Nice one Mame Ama Jasmine.
A lot of these clothes are store rejects and unsold stock that is shifted on due to changes in season clothing abroad in the shops. Not all are second hand clothes. Besides there are second hand clothes shops abroad too. Example is the charity shops. So there is nothing wrong with these clothes. It also prevents clothing landfills.
Yep you are right, there are a lot of second hand clothes shops here in Hungary, and some of the local Hungarians love to shop there. There are also shops with replica and unbranded clothes, also popularly patronized by the locals.
They do it in the states as well. Stores like Gabes and Marshall's buy damaged or unsold lots of clothing and sell them.
Pleasant morning Princess Jasmine spontaneously always beautiful and very informative, have a nice and pleasant day in peace and love blessings❤🇯🇲
blessings to u xx
@@JasmineAmaa your welcome Princess
@@Kay-Dean it's so peaceful and you will just love it
Ama knows the bargain culture paa oo. One of the things I unfortunately, could not learn growing up.
Well done Jasmine, I like the fact that your content is varied and so we get to enjoy so much. 😘
I liked all your clothes, Jasmine.
You guys didn't go to an eatery after shopping though, I was looking forward to seeing food.
You took me home in the market place.
Ghana is just like Jamaica.
we were so tired by the end, hopefully another time we can show food xx
@@JasmineAmaa Ghana is just a bigger Jamaica,
@@305jett and more affordable
I had to subscribe after the 5 cedis jeans guy😂😂
I really loved this one. Markets are so much fun
One ❤Ghana.....blessings from Jamaica 💚💚💚💛💛💛💛
This Jean's guy knows his stuff. River Island wow! Ghanaians are like Ugandans. Soft spoke and calm only difference is the language.
Owino market ogilabye? hahahahaha...
Going through Rawlings park to Makola #1 and 2 to Kantamanto, you will find people from different walks of life. Yes it’s the busiest market in Accra and the economic heart of Greater Accra. The people you come across are, funny, real, very hardworking, serious, and showing love for what they do. The manner in which they convince you to buy from them is just amazing. Very good entrepreneur skills. It’s the real hustle life of Accra. And mind you; you have to be sharp, smart and cautious to be here. After two to three visits it becomes normal and easy to maneuver through the market and go straight to what you want to buy and head out. Your filming was smooth and got people who asked to be interviewed. Very impressive.
Kanta is the eishh when it comes to clothes and all forms of wears.
The security man at the car park does that all the time! He wants tips 😆 he’s friendly though.
he was very helpful xx
Omg I never realized how I miss some things, like the little umbrella the market women wear on their heads.😄
This looks like downtown Kingston Jamaica 🇯🇲 🇬🇭
I remember we used to buy the latest flashy pair of sneakers at Kant...
.. tamanto👍🏾
@@kolabade18 this type of market is where majority of Ghanaians shop for clothing?
@@pietrojenkins6901 most people in Ghana actually pay tailors to make them clothes Mr Jenkins. This is our version of second hand clothing just like charity shops here. These traders are not able to get themselves actual shops hence why they sell it this way.
The clothes look great on you girly. I hate parking garages lol. No matter how many pictures you take to mark your car's spot, you'll somehow always get lost loool.
I Love all the Market areas in Ghana
Thanks for sharing. Everything is so vibrant. I would love to visit Ghana one day. I love the market. It reminds you of my visits to Asian and middle east markets.
I love waking up to see that you have posted a new video. I look forward to seeing your new content. I felt overwhelmed too just watching you all do all of the walking and bargaining with all of the vendors. Tell Aisha I will take her on a date with her new high heal shoes. 😀
You pick up alot of nice things. Thank Jasmine for showing us around
I seen large what we call flea markets here in the states but this is amazing. So much to choose from. You are such a cutie modeling your clothes Still look like a young teenager. Beautiful!!
You guys had fun, so much fun!! Nice! I loved that green colored wrap dress you bought early on in this video. Where was Aisha going with those shoes, funny. And that jeans guy... excitable he was, good salesman. Stuff and more stuff!🌺
One thing about this market people, I mean some they give prizes based on your appearance so if you don't take time you'd buy something which is 20 for 60, am saying this because you remember the video you did and bought smails 50 GH n my market I bought it 10 cedis but apart from that God's blessings with your good works.
Nice haul video. Luv the black skirt, it's so versatile ✌❤💋
Hi Jasmine, you're making some great videos. Have seen most of them you have here on YouYube and love them. My best wishes to you, hope there will be more videos from you. Greetings fom Norway.👍👍

Love the new cam feel
That outfit you tried on last, (the dress looking one) suits you so well! Fits your personality as well, at least the perspective we viewers get. A free spirit with kind intentions.
Isha (forgive me if the spelling is wrong) is too funny.

Just like peanut butter and banana sandwich which I like even without the bread it's very delicious!! Or make a peanut and banana smoothie!! Yummy yum yum!!
It’s the jumping transitions at the styling session for me
Love your videos, thank you
love the video as usual lol Ashley
When viewed on camera , makola and kantamanto markets are very colorful or has to do with the pixel resolution of your camera. In any event, it is a beautiful scenery. The sellers are very persuasive and convincing especially the men.
Kantamanto has arguably the best Fufu and local foods joints, you should check those joints out when next you’re there. A whole lot varieties you’d certainly love
Nice selection and prices! My favorite was the dress 😍
@Jae Cee agreed! 😍. Lovely!
Look oooo you do so well, I was just typing to ask how much it is to pack there and you mentioned it in the video 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Thanks for the very interesting video.
..love the video..you have such a fun attitude and I bet even funner to be with..
..I live in Chicago and you'd be surprised at some second hand stores stuff is even cheaper..
..I think it's terrible that some countries dump off beat up clothes they are supposed to be donating ..I wish I could contribute as a patreon to your channel..maybe later.. but will spread the word about you..cheers..!..
❤️
Oh nice nice they know how to make a customer buys from them
You are doing really well Jasmine! these markets are gold! just hoping we can get an online platform solely for these sellers so in the future they will have the opportunity to sell their clothes online. I believe this will help cut down the crowd and hustle 😃 🙂
The clothes on the floor reminds me of a store I have gone to in the US called garment district, clothes on the floor are sold at $2 a pound, some of the items are brand new.
Interesting video. continue showing us the beauty of our people/homeland #frjamaica
Jasmine, please try to wear the face mask when you're around many people ok l don't want you to get sick ok, my dear daughter 😢
