Did anybody catch the Heart Condition reference with A-Train and Blue Hawk? It was a film where Bob Hoskins played a racist cop and got a heart transplant from Denzel Washington, who returns a ghost that only Hoskins can see. They just switched the donor/recipient. I wonder if they’ll do the same.
That actually would be a great story line and probably one of the best on this show if Blue Hawk showed up as a ghost and A-train is forever losing it.
@@Dennis_K09 What's the name of the movie?
@@avatar_bro Heart Condition.
@@dubbleplusgood My condolences, I can’t be there in person, but I promise my heart is right there with you. Wishing you well!
@@avatar_bro are you an AI bot picking out key words? I answered your question about the name of the movie. It was also in the original post.
15:53 I believe that in this part, Homelander is doing what Stormfront told him last season, about wanting his public angry, about having someone to point out and blame.
Yeah. In Philippines and other countries, that worked out well.
Not sure if yall know but "poof" is a slur for gay people. His dad was basically calling him a f*g
Yeah it's UK lingo for f***ot
And?
Damn 😅
@@prime1 and what? they’re informing them..
Thanks for the information
I've always thought Jensen Ackles was pretty, but with that beard and haircut, it's like *DAMN.* He's everyone's daddy now.
According to an interview he just did for the boys, he's ZADDY
you're right
Yes, Suraj. People have used the word ‘rally’ to describe political gatherings for a longgggg time now lmao
Also, it’s kinda scary to see how many people view Butcher this episode as just a non-remorseful piece of shit tbh. I’m not defending his actions or choices by any means, don’t get me wrong. But speaking from experience, he’s very clearly an extreme abuse survivor with mental illness and loads trauma of self loathing. Self sabotage and making terrible decisions honestly are just part of that equation. It’s not like any of us want to make those decisions or endanger the people close to us. The brain just fuckin sucks sometimes. I’ll be incredibly surprised if things continue the way they were set up at the end and butcher actually goes through with getting more temp v and giving it to Hughie. I’d be more likely to assume that he’s trying to pull one over on Hughie cause he thinks he’d try getting more himself anyways.
Butcher has taken 5 doses and Hughie took 4. Both are in the red zone
I think butcher is pretending that he is out of temp v. When he said that they need to get more he was lying so Hughie wouldn't take anymore.
I'd argue Ryan is actually looking like he might be (relatively) okay - he spent his first decade or so with a mum who loved him, and Grace seems to be holding up the whole 'give him a normal-ish life' bargain. More importantly, despite the various traumas the poor kid has suffered, he actually seems to be emotionally stable and somewhat in control of his powers - his reaction to Butcher's sudden turn was to get angry, sure, but he calmed himself down before he tore that necklace off. That's a much more mature reaction than you'd ever see from Homelander...
Eh, idk, Butcher’s little stunt earlier in the season might trigger some internal rage with him that leads him down a hateful path.
@@moviebad109 true and then we get homelander 2.0
I got bad news
@@PocketDong yeah,it's good news to me though because I really wanted that, also homelander could be a good father, you never know.
I suspect that the character that keeps talking to Noir with a stutter is actually Noir's projection of himself (technically all of them are). The reason why I think this is, in addition to Noir possibly having his vocal cords damaged (from all the shit SB put him through), his speech - post final fight with SB - was most likely like that. At least, that's how he remembers it.
This would also make sense since SB actually took a huge portion of his brain out during that final beatdown. A portion that probably regulates speech; i.e., the Broca's Area.
But they've "been there for him" since he was a kid. They mentioned being there when he paralyzed a kid _at_ the Beaver restaurant and hid in the ball pit, then again in 7th grade...before any SB abuse.
*I suppose the character could have developed a stutter after the exposure to SB.
from the way its presented black noir's vocal cords aren't damaged, it's his brain. Stroke and traumatic brain injury patients can have varying grades of speech impediments after brain damage occurs.
Every week Suraj finds a way to believe in Butcher. I have to applaud his hope lol
18:11 I loved how RANA immediately looked over at Chris when Ashley did her black voice
I feel like there'd be no point in Butcher's flashbacks this episode if it didn't change his path going forward. I'm guessing he wants a fresh batch of temp v for himself, to do a final push against Homelander. And right before go time, hell try to force Hughie out.
There was a similar twist with Butcher last season where he was going to make a deal with Vaught to save his wife, but he couldn't go through with it
i understand there not following the comics but they have been loosely down to character archetypes and personalities and in the comics butcher goes completely through with everything down to killing frenchie kimiko and mm and then tricking hughie into killing him , i dont think thats gonna happen in the show but i get a feeling they still want to show that butcher has no limits
This show flows from one WTF moment to another so quickly and effortlessly 😂It’s truly amazing to me.
the thing with human psychology is that being reminded about your shortcomings can go one of two ways: you can either change course because you realize the error of your ways or you can double-down because you realize that this is just who you are. Butcher went with the latter. he basically said "I'm no good and I ruin everyone around me so what's the point of changing now?" Butcher's dad did a number on him and his brother and this show's portrayal of generational trauma is amazing ❤️
Just for future reference a “puff” is a slur for gay men like the f word in the uk
The real twist was the cops calling Pat at the end…
🤣
what was it?
@@commentor2013something about cats
Pat be tripping me out sometimes homie said “damn” I felt that 😭😭😭
Victoria can’t kill Homelander. Even under the big assumption that she could actually exert enough force to pop him, it’s not like it’s instantly. The time required for her to pop Homelander would be more than enough time for the man faster than F-16s to either laser her or blitz her
They could have easily taken Stormfront's eggs and implanted Homelander into another woman with her never knowing.
lmao the long bleeps in the intro had me dying Chris always ready and willing to drop some knowledge on the couch
Lol that flashback to Mickey fucking up the MHA reaction will never get old🤣
“Like that Jackie Robinson movie that was about Harrison Ford” LOL
Butcher is going to give Hughie the permanent V in the office, to save him.
"And guys if you're enjoying this scholarly conversation" - Suraj
Right after Chris describes multiple sex positions xD
8:25 "This is a bit of his black story" 💀
A poof is a derogatory term for a gay person guys-
Yeah was gonna say this myself, it's not even a mild one, it's exceptionally not okay
OK, and?
@@Cund they didn't know what it meant and were saying it quite casually just wanted to make sure they knew what it meant
@@remisthinking ok
No different than “bender”. I heard that got a chuckle out of the British when The Last Airbender came out in theatres at the time. Can you imagine? 😂
So that interviewer guy is called "Cameron Coleman" who's basically a Tucker Carlson parody on the "Vaught News Network." They rolled him out for some pre-season 3 promos and have been using him in-show since.
I forget where, but I read a theory that Black Noir had gotten so close to Homelander first so that Homelander doesn't do to him what Soldier Boy had done AND so that Homelander would protect him if Soldier Boy would escape from Russia. It does not seem to have worked out that way, though.
The thing with MM and the new husband seems like divorced fantasy. Of course the new husband is utterly terrible and endangering the daughter, so of course divorced dad completely justified in assaulting him.
At this point, the last episode will probably show Butcher nd rest of the boys took the Permanent V, Noir joined them, Maeve dead, Homelander, Soldier Boy, A Train , Victoria Neuman nd probably the bald lady from the last season who can blow everything will join the team, also using Ryans blood to make powerful supes children
I think that that story is about M.M. finding a way to protect his family the way he couldn't as a child. The bad stepparent trope sucks but..... M.M. has some really interesting stuff this season so goodbye Todd
I get that this is a show and all, but in reality, MM still wouldn't be justified in assaulting the stepdad. How is Todd supposed to know that homelander kills people on the regular? Just because he's a fanatic, doesn't mean you can just assault the dude
@@ImJef Of course, in both reality and the show, MM should be arrested for assault. That is why I said that it was a fantasy.
The show does not show Vought to be particularly adept at covering up...anything. It is an absolute mess. Their two main advantages are their massive reach and a willing audience. I had been rather skeptical that that airplane video would have any effect on people like Todd since they could always find justification for it that they needed in any particular moment. Todd is so willing to believe anything that Vought says not because there are not alternate voices, but because he does not want to listen to them. He is part of that willing audience. And...that would be fine, if this were only a matter of opinion. But if that puts Janine at risk, it is no longer a matter of opinion. Todd is a danger; an immediate threat. That Todd did not know is not only due to his own ignorance, but also irrelevant at that moment.
Aside from assaulting Todd, MM's mistake was not opening up to Monique more about his family trauma. Perhaps maybe their marriage would have lasted longer. Perhaps she would not have gone for someone who is the opposite of him where it comes to superheroes.
And then in the next episode, we see Todd's opinion on Homelander murdering people.
@@AT-rr2xw well spoken
So, from my knowledge, Jensen Akles wasn't okay with doing the scenes that were portrayed in the cartoon since he has kids and didn't want them seeing him actually doing all those things.
The girl can’t pop homelanders head, and they both know it. Same with soldier boy. They’re both too durable.
Maeve made homelander bleed with a punch. There is no way he'd survive a serious headpopping attempt. He just has plot armor
13:46 “like Happy Tree Friends.” DUDE! I fell like I’m the only one that ever watched or talks about that! I miss Happy Tree Friends!
While last episode was off the wall bonkers and epic, this episode was genuinely really sad for many reasons.
I feel like Homelander wouldn’t care anymore about family. Season finale, he and Soldier Boy are doing an interview together to reveal the parentage to the public only for Homelander to kill him and show his true self on camera.
And boy were you wrong
Rana sounded like a mom when she said Chris’s full name
The cat thing??? Did they explain why cops are involved with Pat’s cat?… did I miss that???
I wondering the same thing
SO Pat found a cat in his dads garage under his dads car he called Rana and they took it to a shelter to see if it was chipped and it wasn't so they lifted it there and posted online to find the owners. The next day a kid came by asking if they saw it so Pat tells him where to go to get the cat back now the people the cat belonged to are ishy about it and called the cops on them lol

There's a high chance Butcher will change his mind. You have to remember, last season Butcher planned to give Ryan away to Stan after taking him from HL. But during the escape, he confessed to Becca and then tried to deviate from his original plan.
Some part of me hopes that Butcher is avoiding telling Hughie because he believes Hughie will try to take it anyway and he wants to take away’s Hughie’s chance to take more for certain
From my theory he still feel guilt left his brother cause him to death, and lenny want him around, now hughie want super power what butcher want to do probably he let hughie have power but atleast he beside him, but yeah he probably doing last season formula or he let annie tell him the truth so hughie can hate him.
*Comic spoiler*
In the comic many fans dont like what butcher do in ending but for my opinion butcher want to die cause his hate with supe is too deep, and he want to be stopped not by the boys, MM, or any supe. Just hughie, cause he blame his failure to let his brother die, and he trick hughie to become him, cause knowing comic ver hughie more coward than series, and he want die in peace, making hughie more bold like him is atleast that make hughie survive in this fck up world, but yeah killing the boys is too far but atleast he dont kill starlight or hughie parent.
I hope Butcher will but he's done some crappy stuff
Homelander holds back because of online presence and public eye. Whereas Soldier Boy doesn't care (know?) what the internet is so he might be a worse threat because he's unleashed. That or Black Noir might be the piece that makes father and son not work together.
It is wild to me that Pat watches this gruesome violence like a stone-faced psychopath but if this were supernatural in nature he would be flinching and freaking out.
He'd be watching it hiding his face behind the pillow 🤣
12:43 your friend's laugh 😅 is contagious and funny sounding
14:27 Glad somebody caught it
I love y’all so much 🥰😍. So fun to see the reactions 🥰

I love your Channel Guys
Your reactions are priceless. You got yourself a sub! Well done!
So If Soldier Boy is The Father🤔
Does that mean Liberty was Mom?🦸♀️
.....Fkn-Cheetos.😳STORMFRONT😳
The octopus scene is so ironic with that love is love shirt..
I noticed it right away 😂 that’s messed up
HAHAHAHAH
It's all in the wording, or rather the sequence of dialogue, Soldeir Boy tells Homelander, IF they have kept him in the loop, he would've stepped aside, and to me that suggests thaat, despite their connection, Soldier Boy will make it his mission to muck everything up, if nothing else but to stick it to Vought for them selling him out, you heard it here first, lol...
🤣
One of the best intros ever!!! 😂
Chris sounds like Steven He, "The emotional damage" guy. He needs to say Emotional damage.
I wonder if the Priest and Nun were actually Mindstormed. The Nun attacked Hughe sure, but that was after her friend and colleague was murdered in front of her. She might have just been attacking the men she thought were going to kill her.
Love your reactions the boys is one of the best shows ever imo every episode gets better for me 🤯
Remember when butchers brother said that once hughie dies nobody will be left to keep him in check and will be fully willing to do whatever it takes so I think he is going back and forth with himself to either save hughie or let him die so nobody will be left to keep what humanity he has left alive
6:49 first time ever Pat was taken aback by something homelander said
11:20-11:35 Lord have mercy, he gave him that Will Smith slap so hard the box where the show being viewed got cut off for an spilt second 😂😂😂
Pat's commitment to his job tho haha
The Black Noir scenes are the closest to his personality from the comics. Black Noir goes crazy and becomes the most dangerous supe in the comics. However, I don't know how dangerous Black Noir will be in the tv series...
Errm
Don't forget about CINDY From The Asylum. She Has Powers That Matches Soldier Boy and Homelander. "Will She Make A "Favorable" Impact?"..Great Reaction.👍🏿💯👍🏿
Homelander really tried to pull an Andrew Garfield with Starlight's followers
octopus a trois, not et trois, that means "octopus and three"
Sounds even more fun 🤣
@@fullmetalb5241 you’re not wrong 👀
The part of the episode y'all referenced in this reaction title should be the least of anyone's concern... unless it develops into another important plot point, but for now it means Jack Shite.
We had an Empire Strikes Back moment towards the end. Homeboy was triggered AF.
And let us not forget Butcher into the Mindspace. That was very anxiety-inducing.
At this point Butcher not telling Hughie is the more unlikely thing to happen. We've been here before. With what happened to Becca at the end of last season, we're primed for Butcher to do the worst to Ryan, but he still savef the kid. (What he did to Ryan this season is beside the point) Butcher is an Ahole, but there are times when he does the right thing. And yeah I think Hughie is the exception to his worst. Like everybody said, he'll probably at least tell Hughie or Annie gets to Hughie first, and at the end of the day, Hughie will be the one making the decision.
Butcher knows they’re both too far gone. He just wants them to go down in flames.
The actor that played Robert "Bobby" Singer in Supernatural not only is the same actor that's running for President in The Boys but the characters name are essentially the same as well.
I’ve been hoping that maybe somehow he’d have a short scene with soldier boy just as a cool nod to supernatural fans
Marketa when Rana's talking about her recap of the orgy ep lol..."what??"
I've never seen Disjointed but I thought the Black Noir/cartoon thing paralleled Deadpool being stabbed in the brain.
There is a theory (not my) around that Liberty/Storefront was the egg donor for Homelander. It would make the most sense that they would find an equally strong female donor for the mother. Which would mean Homelander porked his mother...totally f..up and fit for this amazing madness of the show
I have faith in Butcher. He proved to actually care about certain people and he’s shown to do the right thing when the time comes like when decided to hold off Vought so Becca could get away with Ryan in Season 2.
Which was 2 seasons ago, he betrayed soldier boy,and expected him to just let the team hurt him
@@user-tg9gt6bk9u huh? 🤨 that was literally the end of season two.
Maybe Noir will be the divide between father and son. Homelander loves him and Soldier Boy wants to kill him more than anything...?
i love that the colors on suraj's and mickey's shirts match.
Homelander and soldier boy joining forces…oh boy…
17:00 lmao you forgot a bit of history here with his mother
Urban dictionary triva at my local bar is the most fun thing I've ever participated in lmao
I think butcher more and more is beginning to realize that he's becoming more like his father and he may insult Huey and make fun of him a lot but I feel he feels that Huey is kind of like his brother but he should do the right thing and tell him to stop using it or else he is going to feel even worse knowing that once again he was not there for someone when he should have
this is just like a star wars moment with luke and vader..... I am your fatherrrrrr lol
He did learn his lesson. This time he's going to sit out the ride with Lenny/Hughie. All the way.
I think you're correct. I think Liberty'stormfront' and Solider Boy DNA is what created homelander.
Remember she said you were created for this etc
8:48 Rana: "No!" lmao
Looks like the Soldier Boy being Homelander’s dad thing turned out to be true. Once I read that theory, it just made too much narrative sense not to be true, but I was still skeptical. To hell with skepticism 😂
This episode was a great follow up to Herogasm. Deepened the characters, the conflict, and set up big stakes for the season finale and the next season. Butcher is such a nuanced and fascinating piece of crap. And their take on Soldier Boy is also good. He’s a walking poster boy for all of the messed up “be a man” rhetoric that has been ingrained in society. I liked how we had a whole episode that showed that super powers really just amplifies whatever is already there in humanity. Butcher, his father, MM, Hughie, and Kimiko all showed that you don’t need powers to be a monster or to get lost in anger to the point of violence.
Pat’s face at 12:03 😂😂😂
He's loving it
I’m pretty sure that Soldier Boy was wrong when he killed that priest and the nun just had an understandable reaction.
bruh, is the shining light liberation army still operating?
At the beginning of this season Homelander showed that he considered his desire for love and mommy and daddy to be his cancer that needed to be purged. I could see Homelander eventually turning on Soulja Boi. I can also see MM taking a page out of Butch’s book and choose to work with Homelander to take out Soulja Boi.
No way MM is working with Homelander
I feel like Stormfront (Lady Liberty) IS Homelander's mother? Soldier Boy mentioned she was a firecracker in bed, she's the only supe that we've seen that can fly like Homelander, and Edgar in this episode points out that the child can fly. Knowing the writers I wouldn't put it past them to have Homelander sleep with his mother lol
Then he completes the oedipus story by killing his father

Cops at the door of my house. Finish watching the episode of The Boys.
Priorities. 😅
after the end of that episode, everyone is FUCKED
Dude skipped the cops just to finish watching The boys.
W move
I'm very curious what Chris said at the beginning lol.
amazing episode
Jim Beaver is the actor for Bob Singer. He played a character by the same name in supernatural where Jensen(soldier boy) is from. Fun fact the character, Bobby Singer, in supernatural is named after the director. I thinks it is fun that the would be president in The Boys isn't just named Bob Singer but is the same actor AND Jensen is also in the show as well. It's like one giant can't miss Easter egg
Another fun fact, Soldier boy real name is Ben which was the name of character Jensen Ackles played in the season 1 of a show called Dark Angel. In this show Ben was also super soldier created by military group called Manticorp.
Also, Jensen Ackles and Jim Beaver once appeared on an episode of Days of our Lives together, when Jensen was a regular on that soap.
nice J´s Chris
I still think Liberty will turn out to be Homelander's mother. If they harvested her eggs, did it all in a test tube, and had a surrogate carry the baby, then she wouldn't even know.
Hughie and Butcher are pretty much already dead, I dont blame butcher for not telling hughie who wouldve just freaked out, better for it not to be a waste and at least take out homelander in the process. Saying that hughie and butcher will probably take permanent V as there was a lot of it left over after kimiko's dose.
I was let down by Butcher’s decision to lie to Hughie but I also consider that Hughie showed his resolve in Herogasm when he refused to leave when told to flee. Butch been had the resolve to go down swinging with Homelander nd is probably fine with Hughie sharing the same resolve. Also, they’re pretty far down the rabbit hole anyways. Butch shared the temp v’s high addictive qualities with Maeve earlier in the season nd Hughie marveling grossly at his new power while Kimiko was at death’s door in the back of the van was surprising to see. Also, consider Butch may have the sneaking suspicion to a degree about the harmful effects, which may be why he didn’t fully reveal the number of doses they took to Annie. Also, should consider what Hughie’s reaction would be? He wouldn’t be calm at all lmao. He reminds Butch of his younger brother and I don’t think it’s too wild to consider that Butch may be sparing Hughie’s feelings and possible reaction to his own addiction nd dependence on the temp v. Hughie does not have the best self esteem, I don’t think he’d be efficient or have his head in the game. I’m reaching but I hope Butch may actually have lied to Hughie to hopefully destroy the remaining supply but we’ll see nxt episode. Unbeknownst to both Hughie nd Butch, but I think Hughie is suffering the side effects at a faster rate than Butch because his ears were leaking earlier than Butcher’s…
Soldier boy was weakened by MM's grenade and he didn't realize it until the fight.
yo wtf was Chris saying at the beginning lmao hshfusad
Did Rana show herself reacting to Herogasm? I think she wasn't available then.
All of the suspicions of Liberty being Homelander's possible mother and none of the disgust? That would be disgusting on Oedipus levels .
I don't think we saw either Hughie teleport or Butcher's eyes glow during the Crimson Countess section so it's possible the current count is Hughie 3 and Butcher 4 (Gunpowder is the extra one for him).
Hughie teleported to show Annie what he'd done....
Its 4 for hughie Russia, Countess, Herogasm and Mindbender(whatever his name is) Butcher has those 4 and gunpowder.
Butcher so far got the V when visiting gunpowder, then russia, then Crimson Countess, Herogasm and finally here that makes 5.
Hughie got V in Russia, Crimson Countess, Herogasm and this ep, that makes 4.
