Sooooo.....I visited Ambia tonight. They added a cardamon creme brulee and Zacapa 23 Rum to the tasting menu ($48). David, you did not exaggerate! Everything at Ambia was mouthwatering! Thank you for your review and recommendation!
A menu inspired by the Popol Vuh at Flor de Lis? I'm super interested already! Almost immediately, my mind is blown by the gourmet mushroom and onion smores. They sound very unique and really tasty. I love mushrooms too, so I'm pretty sure I would love that! The taco with the frog legs and ants sounds pretty awesome, too. I've had both before...just not together, and not in a taco, but I liked them when I tried them! The sweet tomato with the cheese sauce and balsamic vinegar must be next level for it to be one of your favorite dishes of all time! Haha, I learned something new (as I always do with your videos) - that volcanic ash can be used in food! And the Duality dish with the little nugget of chocolate and ants? Super creative and fascinating! Kudos to Chef Diego - all of his creations are beautiful! His presentations for everything are next-level. And everything at Ambia looks just as amazing, especially the white tuna on the rice tostada, the Peruvian sea bass ceviche, and the squid with cheese and chilis! I used to love squid too. So good! And who would have thought a cacao mousse with broccoli would be amazing? Haha, I'm blown away by Chef Sergio's creativity. Another awesome, incredible travel food vlog. And another super long comment from me! I really tried to keep this one short! 🤣🤣

Nice to see a lady with class! I can drink with the best of them, and can be fun, yet remain classy. Anyway, loved the tasting menu! I’d eat and drink it all except the food Gras, mushrooms and truffle. 😊

I don't like 'artistic' food, makes me think that the chef spent too much time on the art and not enough time on the food. Besides, 'artistic' food portions are too small. If I dump a bundle of money on a meal, I expect to walk away from the table completely full and sated.
