Probably your 8gb of ram, spider easily gets a bit more than 13gb.
Your 8gb is dual channel? Single?

@@octaxos6968 yeah that’s probably it, just buy another 8gb ram with the same MHZ speed as your current one, add them both to get 16gb. You’re gonna see the huge difference in spider man and other games.

@@octaxos6968 Yes, the 10400 max support is 2666mhz. if you get 3200mhz the mb will automatically put it with 2666mhz.
You can use 3200mhz with the 10400 if you have a b560 board (My situation). But 2666mhz is still okay for the i5

Bottlenecking?

Both of them, its like how the i3 10100 and gtx 1070 are, perfect bottlenecks of each other.
I might try to get a r5 5600 in the future though, the 10400 is struggling a bit nowdays, specially with some games like spider man. When you’re free roaming in the city, you can feel the framedrops, and they’re a bit of the 10400 skill issues.
