Imagine traveling through all the different states and you hear these each time you cross into a new state, just like hearing a video game area's theme song upon entering the area for the first time.
And then you get to Rhode Island…

@@JakeArtist13 it's like the states held a competition for who would get to be the startup and shutdown for Windows XP. Personally, I think Delaware's was great, not too long or gaudy, and not too short considering it's small size.

Idk how he did Rhode Island. It really captured the essence of the state and was so detailed and elegant. I just can't imagine the complexity in composition and the choreography of all the note. Beautiful

First time I went, we got bogged down in mud and I had to miss a day of school. The second time, my dad’s truck broke down, so we had to pile up in our friend’s truck for the three-or-so hour drive back to Bozeman.

As a Rhode Islander, I'd just like to say that is what I hear whenever I enter the state.
As someone born and raised in Hawaii, what you composed for the islands was truly reminiscent of how sweet and beautiful it was to grow up there.

This is totally brilliant. Careful arrangement to have each state finish on a chord. Poor little one-note RI! I'd love to hear this on a barrel organ. You could expand this concept to cover each continent.

This just popped into my feed now, as a Wisconsinite I gotta say fantastic work.
More work went into this than meets the eye. There was creative placement of the lines in order to approximate the shape of each state, while still making chords that work together, plus have the eastern edge of each state have a chord that resolved.
Not really.. you kind of just draw it in the daw and scale all the notes to a key. Honestly the hardest part would be drawing it since you could just use one of the many features in FL to put everything in tune LMFAO
@@kingstondaking7877 if the person did just that, these melodies would sound like random key smashing, even more so than they already do. there was actual effort put into adapting it, which is why it sounds as tolerable as it does. if there wasn't that effort, many of these melodies would sound very flat or have unusually long notes as geographical borders were not meant as musical notation

You could literally make any shape sound melodic. It's the creator's work that makes them sound nice, not the shape itself.

I feel like this is more of a clever alignment/arrangement of notes of a certain key in the shapes of states. Doesn't make it any less impressive though. Very nicely done.

Y'know... I got nothing. No remarks, no sarcasm, no jokes. That was just really pleasant and oddly nostalgic. Genuinely made me feel better in a way I can't explain, maybe it's just the amount of time you put in to make it all sound nice. Reminds me that for all it's flaws, I do love this country a lot. It has so much natural beauty and so many micro cultures and all types of wonderful sights and environments. I don't know why that's my takeaway, but it is, and it's kinda hitting hard right now.
