Hey guys we had some scammers jump on here and try taking advantage of people. It doesn't seem anybody fell for their bs. They wanted $140 shipping for the jump pack giveaway. Just for future reference, never respond from any account that doesn't have the check mark next to it like this one does. This is the ONLY account I will ever comment back to anybody from. Anyone else is a scammer. Also if you're unsure or don't see the check mark, just click on their page and see what videos they have posted and such. I have since reported and blocked the impersonating scammer account.
They sent me a reply to my comment saying I was a winner for the prize giveaway and to text them. It's amazing what they can think of to steal money - wow
Update: Giveaway winner has claimed the Jump Pack. Congratulations Pilgrims Garage! (He was the 2nd random pick since the first guy didn't respond within 24hrs)
THANK YOU CHRIS!!! Your channel is inspirational to all who enjoy a challenge with anything mechanical. I love the content and your editing is spot on. Thank you again and I look forward to using the jump pack!
I can picture some farmer uncovering that old Miller welder and going, "Huh. Wonder if this thing still works." Three days and 200 welding rods later a 4x4 Ranchero with no exhaust roars out of a dilapidated barn and into a field of kudzu, where it spins a bearing and sits for the next 20 years. Nothing stops reality dead in its tracks like a farmer with a stick welder.
I love all your content, your video editing is spot on and your troubleshooting is second to none. I'll watch all your videos whether they run or not. All the best!
The plant surrounding the pickup is Japanese Knotweed, in the UK it's a real problem and is on the Invasive species list. Almost impossible to get rid of in the normal way! Interesting that you had a reaction to it's pollen.
Was just about to comment on this; Japanese knotweed is an invasive plant here in the states as well, not as prolific as in Britain from what I hear, but a very noxious plant nonetheless. I work for the Department of Natural Resources in the state of Michigan and have spent many summers treating Knotweed with herbicide. Nothing from my experience will completely eliminate this plant from a plot of land, those rhizomes just don't die.
You have sparked my interest I owned a 1965 a 1972 and a 1979 Ranchero that's a Brougham top of the line Interior there should be plenty of junkyards that have Ranchero Parts. Power seats. Power Windows Clock and Air. made from the LTD Ford Line. On a Bronco Frame I belive.
When you pulled out the PBG hat from under the Ranchero I damn near spit my drink out. I just finished watching his video where you stopped by to do some repairs. I love seeing y’all supporting each other’s channels.
Chris you rock! I haven't ever really cared for Rancheros but I was rooting for this one. Hope someone takes it up and brings her back around. Happy Fourth!!
It would have been cool to see if the engine HAD in fact turned over to see how far you would go with this specimen. As you said, they can't all be saved. Thanks for giving it a shot, however! I really like your channel, your content, your lifestyle, your sausage doggie, your pretty spouse! Thumbs up for it all!
I don‘t usually comment on stuff but just had to this time, thank you for hours of awesome edutainment, both mechanically and language-wise (I watch to improve my English). I own a little farm in Bavaria and love tinkering with my old John Deere and Jeep there and I find your „no nonsense approach“ very inspiring, impressive how good you are in so many areas! Also you two are a lovely couple and isn‘t little Gus just adorable 😍! Keep up the good work and be in touch if you ever visit the Oktoberfest, would love to buy you guys a beer haha!
Lots of action going on in this episode . Found pole barn garage too . Wow , you sure do get around , all the way to Missouri . We got to see miss Jen and our pal Gus . They’re always welcome . The Rancho , like the el Camino , were popular as motorcycle haulers and for many things , like carrying tools and supplies , for instance . Got to say though , this one deserved a look and was worth a try . Someone put their heart , blood , sweat and tears into this build . Got to admit , it would get a lot of attention by anyone whom would try to get to up and running . The concept is cool ; take your favorite car and mount it on a 4x4 chassis . In my junkyard days , I wanted to do something similar with a Dodge Dart . Sorry this one didn’t work out , we know your not one to quit . Admittedly , it needs special attention and a lot of time and dedication , and a lot of blood , sweat and tears . Appreciate your effort . Thanks for a great episode .
When you are unsure if it is a Cleveland or Modified, check the distance between the two top bell housing to engine bolts. The Cleveland with have the small block bolt pattern (4 inch between two top bolts) and the Modified will have the big block bolt pattern (6 inch between the 2 top bolts)
I forgot what other car used the floor pan stamping as the ranchero but I do know that that cool compartment behind the seats is actually the place where passengers would put their feet in the back seat of the other car that used those stamping’s. Maybe it was based on the ltd or wagon. I heard someone say that once, pretty cool.
Just wanted to say thank you for your channel. It's nice to see old thing being brought back to life. Keep it up..... P.S. I've been binge watching all of your videos...
I legit check UA-cam everyday for a new vid from you man😂 you’re crushing it with your vids, look forward to hopefully some more hotrod/classics rescued🤙🏽
Those body mounts are sure a treat for the eyes! Even if they can't all be runners, I appreciate your style of jumping around and showing a variety of projects. Happy Fourth!
I like your content! The fast pace and showing your progress is great. I like this concept of this Ranchero but too far of a haul at these gas prices. Keep it up!
Good morning Chris! Yup you can't win of of them, looks like a lot of water had gone into the cylinders. It is always nice to see Jen and Gus! I hope that everybody has an awesome 4th of July weekend! Thumbs UP man !!
You need to just make your own car/4x4 hybrid for the channel. Let Gus loose in the junk yard and whatever he picks, do you magic. Little tip. Let him loose near one you like.
Always fun, especially when Jen and the puppy join in the fun. A family affair, keep the good times rolling. I was really hoping this car was salvageable., a classic.
Hiya brother!! Sorry you didn't get the Ranchero to cooperate, but on the bright side, you had a visit from a stunning angel on a scooter, with her trusty side kick. Keep rocking Chris, keep up the awesome work, and content. Semper Fi,over and out
I think it's good to show some of the times things just don't work out. It might bring someone back to reality, you can't always expect to get something running without really tearing the engine apart.
That's a Cleveland. Water neck on top of the intake, Windsor is in the front. Fuel pump bolts on 351C are top and bottom of pump, 351W on both sides of pump. I grab all the Cleveland stuff I can.
Appreciate you including your failures that’s respectable & you’re right you can’t save them all. Do you know if that’s a 351 Windsor or Cleveland in the Ranchero ?
That PBG shameless plug was awesome his channel is actually what lead me to your channel so that was a crazy coincidence for me at least lol gotta love the car community
G'day mate you've got me here hope you go with it dude but I commented too early maybe ..love your channel mate "I LIKE IT " buddy your a cool dude .. love your little doggy GUS too bro ..all the best mate 👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺

I had a 1967 ford Ranchero and loved it till my brother totaled it. this one has definitely seen better days and cant be saved without tens of thousands of dollars .
Your best score ever is Jen, never forget or take that for granted.. She is 1 in a million the way she supports, and encourages this lifestyle.. You guys are a great team for sure !
In 1970 I was traveling through Pierre South Dakota and saw one at a farm supply store. It was about a 1958 body on a four wheeler chassis with about 33 tires. They had a nice paint job and the "O" was cutoff the Logo so it said "RANCHER." The only thing I couldn't understand was why it had an EDSEL front end!!!
Amazing how you pick these old beat up cars in a junkyard and bring them back to life! You're so positive! Thank you! You're truly a bright spot in the day! Hi Gus! Nice of your girlfriend to drop by for a visit. !
I've always loved the Ranchero/ElCamino style vehicles, and being a Ford guy (Grandpa always swore by Ford's, so I got it honest.) I leaned toward the Rancheros. Personally, I love the stacked rectangle LTD style front end of this model. I was rooting for this one to be a starter for you. Great stuff man. I'm a Blaster fan too. It is so much better than that "40" water displacer that everyone thinks is for rust.
Kenny Rogers once said you have to know when to hold them, know when to fold them. I would fold. there are so many other cars you can put your talent ito
Hey Chris I think you gave it a valiant effort like you said you can't rescue every single vehicle and not every single vehicles going to start who knows how long that's been sitting there rusting away it's a neat concept of somebody had the time in the money to get that thing running and mess around with it fun to use this to bang around with
I LOVE! the new dial/slide adjuster lockout! It makes it so nice for not having accidents while under a car. Plus its nice to just barely crack that dial open when you're trying to just get one bolt deep in the bay and not half the engine. lolol
Had a buddy in high school that had a Cleveland motor in his mid 70's Orange regular cab short box ford pickup. What a great motor. Sorry you could not make it happen with this one.
Well after seeing the motor on the homebuilt air boat, this just might pop off and run ok. I would give her a try!! This one you could just rebuild from junkyard parts, give you a break on revivals and you can just mess around for a minute. I will say one thing about the pb blast. My cans only last half way and always run out of arisol!! And leave me with half a can of liquid!!! No matter where I get em!!! I just use arocral instead been using it since 1990
Thanks for crawling thru the weeds and getting dirty for us again man!!! Love the show, great content & very entertaining…. Keep it up!! I ordered my NNKH lid!!
I love it. So awesome bro. A friend of mine had one of those when I was a younger man. It was a fast vehicle man. I hope you fix that bad boy up. Awesome video brother. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
I have a 1978 ranchero, same style. This is the first one I have seen with both front parking light lenses (turn signal). I am resorting mine and have been looking for the drivers side. Color me jealous.

No problem man! Hopefully you can put it to good use! Thanks so much for checking out the videos and the channel support. I greatly appreciate it!
Yes they tried to get me... thank God I didn't fall for it... it did feel good for minute thinking I finally had won something lol
Farmer would have just dropped the pan and put a new bearing in, not a set, just the bad one.
Welders make ideas "stick". All pun intended !!
I’m surprised we missed some duct tape and bailing wire.
I love all your content, your video editing is spot on and your troubleshooting is second to none. I'll watch all your videos whether they run or not. All the best!
Yeah I'm addicted to this content as well I've been watching all his stuff over the last week

Me too.

One of my new favorite channels. I have been binge watching your content for a week. Thanks for all that you do!
That ranchero body is great. Love the Elite body style, my Dad had one that was his pride and joy when I was born.
It would have been cool to see if the engine HAD in fact turned over to see how far you would go with this specimen. As you said, they can't all be saved. Thanks for giving it a shot, however! Recent subscriber here. I've been binging all your older videos and I'm loving it. Keep it up with the great content!
I love the things you do to try to save a vehicle and I love the ranchero.
My confidence about it running. I have a saying. "If it spins, it runs." It may run bad but it will run. I have only seen one exception.
Great channel, excellent content. I look forward to more great WIR vids. Good luck on all the future endeavors! Keep up the work👍

Awesome. Thanks so much for the info
Love the will it run videos. Keep up the good work man!
Another great effort! You constantly prove that just because someone tossed it aside doesn't mean it's done. Waste not, want not!
A video on the Miller welder perhaps??
Hell yea..made my morning..im on my deck with my coffee and smokes, best of all is when that NNKH video popped up..
Love PBG, Dalton is a riot. Great to see you two together, can't wait to see the Torino.

It had the Cleveland
@@NoNonsenseKnowHow that’s the best 351 to have to build & that’s a good deal because the Cleveland’s are harder to find now than the Windsor’s are

I do love rancheros. And unique 4x4 conversions. Hopefully someone can do something with it.

A new NNKH video! What a great way to end the week heading into the 4th of July weekend!
I had a 1967 ford Ranchero and loved it till my brother totaled it. this one has definitely seen better days and cant be saved without tens of thousands of dollars .
Thanks for keeping the cursing down, not to many entertaining channels I can watch with my kids anymore. Thanks again man!
Could really use that. Thanks for the chance.
Best part of my week is seeing the new video notification. Keep it up buddy!
“Enjoy your weekend of freedom” Amen. Chris is the man.

Still the only channel that I'll like the video before watching it. Keep up the great work! Hope everyone enjoys their 4th of July!
I have faith in you. You'll get her running
Excellent video as always. It's nice to see someone showing that you can't fix everything in a day.
Chris, love the videos. Jen and Gus are so cute. Well mostly Jen.
I LOVE the look of the RANCHERO. Sweet!
I'M happy you showed this video
I love Rancheros more than life. I desperately want one.
Great video to show where everything doesn't go as planned!! Great content!!
Sorry to see the Ranchero abandoned ! Great channel...love the dogs !
Kenny Rogers once said you have to know when to hold them, know when to fold them. I would fold. there are so many other cars you can put your talent ito
Another great video. Your quickly becoming my favorite youtube channel!
Interesting car / truck, perfect size for the little puppy dog! The custom tin dash is, well, one of a kind. Great video, thanks!
You're honest, I appreciate that! Eddie
I used to drive this old Ford with my brother
Hey Chris I think you gave it a valiant effort like you said you can't rescue every single vehicle and not every single vehicles going to start who knows how long that's been sitting there rusting away it's a neat concept of somebody had the time in the money to get that thing running and mess around with it fun to use this to bang around with
I LOVE! the new dial/slide adjuster lockout! It makes it so nice for not having accidents while under a car.
Plus its nice to just barely crack that dial open when you're trying to just get one bolt deep in the bay and not half the engine. lolol
Found you with the "Will it Start" search on youtube...great pace-editing-and content! Love Gus!!
Love the PBG plug… I’m here due to his plug to your channel.
Great video!
Chris, Keep the awesome videos coming. I've watched all of them NNKH.
Had a buddy in high school that had a Cleveland motor in his mid 70's Orange regular cab short box ford pickup. What a great motor. Sorry you could not make it happen with this one.
I had hoped that the Ranchero was a runner. I love the truck body on vehicles like the Ranchero and El Camino. Thank you.
Well after seeing the motor on the homebuilt air boat, this just might pop off and run ok. I would give her a try!! This one you could just rebuild from junkyard parts, give you a break on revivals and you can just mess around for a minute. I will say one thing about the pb blast. Thanks for crawling thru the weeds and getting dirty for us again man!!!
Love the show, great content & very entertaining…. Keep it up!!

Keep up the good work. Love these videos.....even if they don't run.
