What I love about Anya is that she doesn’t actually give a crap about Damian or likes him at all (at least so far). She’s 100% just trying to befriend him for the mission. Like father like daughter.
She's seen his more noble side a few times, plus he's an endless bank of money and delicious sweets amd she's started using his name more nowadays. I think if Damian stopped giving a crap about his social status and just let himself act naturally around her they'd get along splendidly. Maybe not even as crushes, just really good friends.
The last part is so Anya. XD And it reminded me of a friend who was rather smart, but didn't get it when someone hit on her. XD One time a guy literally said he wanted to go out with her and she asked where to. XD Another time a guy touched her hand and said: "Wow, your hands are cold!" and she said "Yeah, I'm dead." laughing. Gosh, this woman. XD I loved her. (In a non romantic way.)

For now they’re kids and although she can read minds she can’t understand the emotional side to the thoughts. Damien acts harsh but, deep down he has a crush on her. Anya does care for him a little bit. I do think with more character development Anya will slowly see him as a friend. And because this comic they’re older is not out of the possibility that at that point Anya fell in love with him. I personally see them date at the end of the series in the end after a future jumpskip.
