    I should go and visit Australia, never been there. I don't care about the snakes really since there's an awesome BJJ instructor there. Maybe i'll settle there after all.

    Good video and explanation, but I think it would be easier to isolate and triangle the arm that you´ve already pin, and go over the arm that is tucked in. This is still another good one to practice.

      What do you mean, Alets? Do you have a video demonstrating what you're speaking about?

    If the opponent is tucking his arm and is making it hard to pin it to the mat, should I just go for a different set up? I tried this today and ran into the tucked arm problem, so i ended up pinning the arm against his body and shooting the leg over for the triangle anyway

      First Last see the video titled “the perfect arm bar” taught by John Danaher in the mount position.
      He gives a great detailed break down on how to expose those pesky elbow huggers. And you will notice Gordon Ryan does this every time he gets in the mount.

    Problem is pinning someone’s arm like that

  • @user-kt6fp8me6h
    @user-kt6fp8me6h 3 роки тому +1

    This is kind of odd as it solely relies on the arm for the triangle being in position already, if that's the case go for it but if not, immediately go for an americana.

    • @uwerlmi6120
      @uwerlmi6120 2 роки тому

      If you can't get your arm under their elbow, because they pin it to the mat and push you away, you can immediately go for this

    Is the Americana a high-percentage way to submit from mount?
