I am so glad you are putting the Cisco movies with Cesar on here........no one could play Cisco like Cesar. He was so much more than "The Joker". Bravo.
Interesting film for 2 things: 1) it makes Cisco half-Portuguese and half-Mexican and having move out of Portugal which he also was in the Warner Baxter Cisco films (in some of which Romero was a sidekick of Cisco), which is nice continuity (so we can assume he is at least the same Cisco as the Baxter one, not sure on the Gilbert Roland and Renaldo ones), 2) unlike Duncan Renaldo 1940s Cisco films and some comics his name (when given) isn't given as Juan Carlos Francisco Antonio Hernandez but as Gonsalo Sebastiao Rodrigo Don (or San?) Juan Chiqueno instead (in the one TV episode they mentioned his name, it was one other name).
Possibly, but Cisco Kid on radio, and soon on tv stood out for Gilbert Rolands drole reparté, when I was nine yrs old. I was grateful he didnt play drunks, psychos, murderers or foolish clowns that were too common in 1930s, 40s and 50s "hispanic" film roles.

He WAS the Cisco Kid for me when I was little
An entertaining "Cisco Kid" movie with Cesar Romero and a good supporting cast. The plot, pacing, and acting were fine.
Robert Lowery was more than Batman in the movie serial
Thank you! The Cisco series brings great joy.. I'm going to view again!
Alberto Ramis played The Cisco Kid in 1931.
WHAT A DANCER CISCO. KID IS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVING IT 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘.
He was a dancer, singer and actor. That’s why he was so easily an actor so long. Best Cisco Kid ever there was - Cesar Romero.
O'Henry sure hit a rich vein with this idea. Thank you. fine to see an early Ceasar Romero ...Almost as good as G. Roland.
Gracias....
All the women actors all have said that the best dancer ever was Caesar Romero!
They all say C Romero was an exceptional dancer!
This Cisco Kid looks like a real Joker doesn't he! Ha ha ha ha.
I wish we could see it on the big screen
Pretty nice. Been 50 60 years.

‘’Kidnapping is bad, it’s very dirty.’’
Duncan Renaldo played the Cisco Kid in the late 40"s early 50's.
Goodstuf
