Personally i think the rot build is very vaiable because while fighting a tough boss you wont really realize the health ticking away until the very last second and sometimes the very last second is all you need to win a boss fight especially when it comes down to both of you having a sliver of health great video my guy❤

Great video as always matt 👍, I'm interested in the all rot build, but do you think it would be better with the butterfly incant, Ekzykes decay and/or rotten breath incants+ powerstanced rotten crystal swords or 2 handing 1 of them and KoR exultation talisman and the full mushroom armour set? As I'm thinking of doing an ALL ROT playthrough for fun, if there's anything else your advice would be appreciated. Keep up the great work mate.
@@thesis4111 thank you! 🙏 And tbh that’s prob a better setup but I like the whole vibe of Romina’s build. They’re both good in their own way. The butterfly incant is also tough with smaller targets too. But for larger ones or when it all hits, it can proc in a single cast.

Blasphemous blade, Alexander shard , fire scorpion charm, ritual sword talisman, talisman of the dread, golden vow, howl of shabriri, and the rakshasa set
Blas Blade, two hand talisman, two headed turtle talisman, and both dew talismans. Put the sacrificial axe in the off hand, but two hand the blade. This makes it not so OP and is a little more fun. It’s really awesome getting the red and blue absorbing effects after every kill. Plus the constant regen on top of that is nice. It’s still strong af, but doesn’t make the game too easy
These are cool - rot builds are sneakily so fun once you know boss movesets a bit. And definitely agree on the Mushroom Crown’s terrible fashion lol. Looking forward to the NG+7 builds!
With the serpent flail its worth having a shield guard counters are awsome with it i just wish they would make the ash explode. But for regular enemies it is awsome
My only gripe with Rakshasha's set is that it's used in almost every melee build. I know why, it's a great set, but it's killing Elden Bling fashion souls.
Who the hell would ever use poison or rot to kill anything? The damage is so bad at those, takes forever to make any noticable damage with those. It could be good, if the proc also damages enemy, like bleed and cold, but no. Just VERY low dmg ticks.

Only used by Min-Maxers who happen to be good enough to survive and dodge. It wont kill fashion because of how much harder it makes fighting bosses
