Heyy, Korea university summer program offers a Korea buddy as well (I saw it on their website) do they really help in anyways ?

yes! i highly recommend doing the buddy program! they group 6-8 students with an actual Korea University student, which will be introduced even before the program starts. i made most of my friends through my buddy group!

there is no meal plan that i know of since meals are bought individually at the cafeteria! last year, each meal was about 5000 won (~4 us dollars)
