But thats the point, Lethal isn't great, theres a reason Jay Lethal has never been a star, and you will never see people who are like "I wanted to be a wrestler because of Jay Lethal" the way you see guys who are obvious Shawn Michaels knockoffs. He's a C+ on his best days, he has nothing unique about him.
Like he said, he was ROH's top guy in their bad years. He didn't win the title because he was organically over, or even because he was great, but because he was all they had left.
ROH’s bad years? Those were the years the bucks had million dollar contracts. I don’t see how those were bad years. They also had tv time on those bad years. I’m biased I’m from bmore and used to go to all the tv tapings.

How are you gonna compare that to the Acclaimed that literally only has like 2-3 years that they formed and in such a short amount of time they got ORGANICALLY over simply by being entertaining and putting on great matches. The Acclaimed are unique in their own way whereas the New Day is getting kinda stale at this point besides they aren’t the same without Big E.

Cena was just alright with the rhymes 20 years ago. Max Caster pushes the limits. They’ve already tried to cancel him once and his zingers are so controversial that Jim Cornette loves to repeat them on his podcast every week. Cena’s elementary rhymes with a couple cuss words doesn’t hold a candle to Platinum Max’s deep cuts. He talks about the Bucks quitting Twitter and Jarrett having an affair with Kurt Angle’s wife.
