Terminator - the most powerful hammer in the world.
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 бер 2015
- This is what we do when not building trebuchets. Our invention, the Terminator, mines rock directly instead of using explosives. Here we are mining at 300 - 400 tonnes per hour. To understand the size, the point is 300mm (1') across. It can also trench in solid rock, dig foundations, make blocks for sea walls, break solid cast steel and demolish any concrete of any thickness. This size Terminator normally goes on a 70 tonne excavator.

Just how many times you would get stuck if you try to work like this with a standard hydraulic breaker? A pure joy to watch. The amount of energy sent into the solid rock must be tremendous
That's what my head feels like on mornings when I wake up dehydrated.
you have diabetes. check it out before it gets worse
Mt dentist uses one of these
That looks to me like you have got a winner there, good invention and serious kinetic power.
I'd like to see its productivity alongside the largest Xcentric ripper as a fair comparison. This monster uses pile driver type thumpings rather than rapid-fire vibrations; most impressive.
Dont know about the most powerful, but it sure is the slowest
that's why it is most powerful.
Slowest impacts per minute maybe. Not much else that is going to remove rocks that fast. And before you say explosives, you have to spend a lot of time drilling for explosives.
Not talking aboutblowing it up! I operate a hammer on an excavator that would run rings around that .
@@brocky7470 That's funny, because I've seen excavators spend hours doing nothing but making chips before they ended up blasting. Really it comes down to the material being removed.
@Ganiscol just another youtube know it all, getting off on feeling superior amongst people he doesn't, or never will know. ignore
Nice but tie the hoses up out the way...........
It’s in India, what do you expect...
Get those hydraulic lines up out of the way!
Don’t tell me what to do, you’re not even my real dad
They’re fine
@@joedwc exactly. I swear, any video involving construction in any way, you get people in the comments acting like know-it-alls. Sometimes it’s good info, but it seems like more and more often now it’s just people taking issue with nothing.
Another excellent video. ♡ T.E.N.
Yes, this is the most powerful hammer I have ever seem in my life. Much much better than those conventional hydraulic hammers that hit a few time per second, but only produce dust & gravels. The impact force of this hammer penetrate deep down into the rock. Although it take longer per hit, it works much more efficient. And less annoyance to our ears.
normal hammers aren't meant to penetrate several feet or even meters. they're meant to break smaller rocks or concrete, and be more productive which is why they're faster. and more compact. you couldln't use that in construction. maybe commercial, where you just have a giant open area. everything has it's place.
and as far as ears go, my ear buds work just fine for me. maybe not so much for the other people on site.lol
Good job
In luv with this machines.wish 2 work with one..

W💥W! That sure is a BiG hydraulic hammer...Mount Everest watch out!
best method alternative to exploding rocks
Guy is hella hard on that bit
you got anything that goes "brrrrrr"?
Top class✌🏼🤩
Need one of these in my home to clean up the roasting pan after lasagna night.
Just a side note. Line the pan with parchment paper.
It works because I don't have to do the cleaning of the pan. 😏
6 hits a minute but it moves a whole house at once
My x wife would love this
Thor: hold my beer
Skilled operator
Any shit operator could hold this and go bang..............bang...............bang.
This is a Bruce lee punch thanks for sharing
Yes but can it hit a nail in one?
Tough day at the quarry, Fred?
No wonder why those mining jobs take so long.
any over way would take much longer that's why this metherd is quicker.
How is the stone being hammered. What's the mechanism that producing the impact. It's like it's reloading between shots?
This video drives me crazy because it never shows the full hammer in the shot a single time. Ridiculous
Wat is the use
Precisando tirar 2000 metros cúbicos sem explosivo centro de cidade qual o maquinário devo usar
Good
Why was this video suggested to me?
warning some mental health patents on here.
Que impresionante está máquina para el trabajo
So this is what my upstairs neighbor has been doing
Greatness
Why can’t we just blast those rocks and then clean up the boulders with shovel
Look ma.....no hands !
Surprised it takes so long to reload
that's because it would use a lot more fuel if it went faster
@@rogerwoodland2587 fuel doesn't run hydraulic system ??
@@rickybobby1888 then what does then lol lol.
The punch is on a pulley system I think like a pile ram that’s why it ain’t going at it like a standard point breaker
roger woodland hydraulics which are power off of a PTO off the engine.
Mantap banget luar biasah
Why not dynamite it instead?
This took forever
What nobody notices is how the type of rock that is being broken is a very easy one to break, it is a shell like rock
You are right about that rock it is only shell rock very soft not like solid blue stone
but still better than anything else
but still the best tool for the job so it s a winner.
It’s hammer time
I used to build these
Nice i love hitting sound of the hammer.
Thump (one year later) thump....
The reload sound of this terminater gun is very cute ☺️
If this was a hydraulic impactor it would have been done already. A weight impactor is too slow.
a weight impacter uses less fuel and is more reliable
a hydraulic impactor is more suited for smaller rocks. a weight impactor is better for big rocks
a weight impactor is faster for big rocks. and hydraulic impactor is best for smaller rocks
a hydraulic impactor is too slow weight impactor is faster.
Impact or vibratory? I can see the primary principle is displacement once you find a weak spot in the veins of those huge rocks & slip that oversized bit in there.
Can it go both ways?
Impact.
Too see if it was the most powerful, why was it not demonstrated hammering quartzite or basalt?
Gooddd
This thing is the shit,The company I work for only deals with units to fit a 1.5 ton komatsu
Well your shit then, playing with toys
Gila powernya
Can I borrow one day to crack a walnut
Хороший перфик !!!!!
Отличная вещ...
Are we not counting Thor's hammer then?
Contact details pls. Can it break granite stones?
Will buy it if it works in granite
Any breaker over 3,000lbs will break and remove living granite on any excavator. Anything over 6,000lbs allows you to chisel living granite from any position in any direction and just destroys it like butter. Same with basalt. Cheers!
Pietra viva massi da ridurre in piccole pezzature. Serviranno per rivestire, riempire, decorare, costruire....Ci terranno sempre a contatto di madre natura.
Is th a home ram worked at allied steel in ..allied steel in Cleveland. Ohio testing hammer
please realize this hammer is mounted on a 1200 hitachi, everything is bigger than it appears, it is not a landscaper excavator you would park on the front lawn.
Where will i get this machine
I need it urgently
Plz call if any1 have this

You sure it ain't that 100 ton boom on it that's doing the busting
You clearly have no idea what you're dribbling about
@@simonchant761 38 years I don't know nothing
That's not a hammer it's a pile driver! Massive rock busting.
Holy shit!
Nice tool. But I feel like the operator is a little bit hard on the machine.
Thats what I'm thinking. Its a hammer not a pry bar and rubble mover
Goot 👍
Excellent but extracting nature..
Do you live in a building? Materials have to come from somewhere you ignorant fool.
What’s the advantage to this over blasting?
In around 2 - 3% of rock which is mined, blasting is not allowed or presents other problems which make alternatives like hammers more economical. In this application, blasting is not allowed due to ground vibration problems. When you can't blast, you need the next-most cost effective method. That method is to use the Terminator.
APR thanks for the info. Be safe and keep on keeping on!
Mcha allah bravo
Can it make sandwiches?
beware there are some very very thick people on this page.
I thought Thor had the most powerful hammer in the world.
J H .....he does but refuses to use it anywhere it could put a man or woman out of a job.... except for busting heads... sounds silly but its his hammer
it is.
ممتاز
looks to me like the slowest hammer in the world.
I'd rather be a hammer than a nail, yes i would, oh yes i would, i surely would.
Asmr 😆
Seems like it is too slow....
Russell Freer lets gp back to using dynamite. its more fun
Russell Freer ....the result is faster !
to go faster would use more fuel
because its big and heavy
@@jeffcarroll1990shock It would take more time to drill the holes to put the dynamite into than just use this machine. .
Got nothing on Thor's hammer.

👍
Seems like blasting would be much easier
It depends. In some bulk applications blasting is better, and in others the Terminator can operate more economically or in conditions where blasting is difficult or impossible. Here blasting is forbidden and in this application the Terminator has the same cost and productivity as blasting anyway. Where the Terminator wins: Armour stone, foundations, oversize, anywhere there are restrictions on blasting or difficulties getting explosives, trenching, demolition of thick or heavily reinforced concrete, breaking steel slag, skulls and cast iron, quarrying and mining in many places where the rock is layered or fractured, precision mining where the ore can be distinguished from the deposit (phosphate, manganese etc), precision quarrying where there is contamination of the deposit with clay etc, most civil construction within cities or near roads, road building in rock, etc.
but take longer.
not always practical.
300mm is over 11" across, NOT 1"

and they need to improve cars so they can go around the world on a teaspoon of petrol.
No machine the hammer is installed on will have any warranty on anything
Where's the hammer? 🔨?
The company I work for tried one of the Terminator aka "tinkernator" hammers over 20 yrs ago, what a joke! Nothing more than a modern day spin on a drop ball!. The Tinkernator hammer we tried was supposed to have an impact of 28 thousand pounds, no way, not even close, the 5000lb hydraulic we were using at the time would break circles around it. j/s
Had one of them up here too and it ended up in the scrap pile. Too slow, too expensive to fix.
Powerful but slow!
Just for the record John Henry's Hammer hit harder than this.
cardi b will go nuts when she sees this
