Mr. Mathias Jabs said that James Kottak was given thousands of chances to wrap those problems up because he was a great drummer and a friend. However, when it's a about a rock band, it's about a business and professionalism comes always first.

you know i get so tired of people comparing rudolf to michael. look michael is a legend lead guitar player. but on the same level rudolf is a master lyricist song writer.and a very good rythum guitar player. if you look at all there albums rudolf has a lot of songs he co wrote. and lot of riffs to.come on give the man a little love!

Then check out one of their most awesome songs with their former legendary guitarist Uli Jon Roth in Sails of Charon but both versions , originally with scorpions then as uli jon Roth and the vocalist was vocalist of yngwie malmstein. Both awesome
...And Mickey Dee is better than both of them! Pawel on bass is bad ass too. Very talented when listening to his side projects...quite possibly the best bassist in Scorpions history. Would love to see the current lineup put out a new album!
Kottak is nothing compared to Herman The German. Herman was not just an absolute beast of a hard hitting drummer, but a great lyricist, and the guy who directed Scorpions to the more heavy metal sound they became famous for in the 80's. After he left, the whole band went to steep downhill.
@@Scorpsfan absolutely…one of their best in years! I am also a fan of both “Unbreakable” (04) and “Humanity Hr. 1” (07). It behooves me as to why the haters come out against Humanity!? People either love it, or hate it! There are some pretty brilliant tracks on that album

Outside of the albums with Uli Roth and some of the newer records he wrote the music to nearly every Scorpions song!!
