hi! your giving a good lecture and very good understanding, but i have one problem apart from this lecture, i have CompactLogix L31, And Added, ADN( Scanner module),SDN Module, Input &Output through RSNetWorx software but i don't know how to Link my project with controller, this is because in my controller there is no area where i can put my Inputs and outputs. please give me some Guidance what is to be done.Hoping positive response.
First you have to add the SDN to the local bus of the L31. Then you have to create a scan list in the SDN using RSNetworx for Devicenet. The scan list will include the ADN with whatever modules you have attached. YOu can open RSNetworx from within RSLogix5000 or Studio5000 to do most of this if not all.
