Pinning this for clarification: The WORST part of this game were the horror game aspects LOL I def didn't like the story until the very end but for the most part I still enjoyed the game. I dont think it's bad but it's obviously not perfect. What game is? If we were gonna be serious about what was the worst part of this game, it wasn't even the game itself. It was the losers on Twitter/X "discussing" the game LOL ANYWHO hope you guys enjoy
Yeah it's not perfect, my personal opinion on the bad side of this game was in the dialogues, everytime they talked, the head bobbing/nodding was really annoying, and some input being not registered. A lot of people, especially UA-camrs or Streamers that complains about the english voice acting but they didn't even try the Korean one was baseless and invalid to me, like you can't judge a restaurant if you haven't tried their menu yet.

Ouch. I think the heavy Nier comparisons people tacked on started becoming a little bit of a mistake. Because like yeah, initial concept, borrows a lot and nobody's hiding this fact of production. But peeling past that very top layer, Stellar Blade's plot isn't trying to be Nier at all. imo it's way more like your Horizon Zero Dawns, your Resident Evils, your Detroit Become Humans, very familiar been-there done-that genres of plots in games that aren't exactly discussed or lauded or recognized for their lore or worldbuilding, no matter how good or bad. I just hope people aren't so wrapped up drawing comparisons to be disappointed by that they can't even focus on the merits of this one as a standalone
I mentioned multiple times that while the story falls flat there are many things I still enjoy about the game. It’s not even just from comparison. In fact it’s not even from Yoko Taro himself saying this game was better than NieR. Yeah I had expectations bc of what Yoko Taro said BUT the VA direction made the story sound so bland during pretty important plot points and the pacing of the story is pretty bad. I finished the game so YT play through videos are pretty behind but while the story picks up like crazy at the end, it was still overall ok at best bc of how hard it is to connect to the story. If I didn’t do 6hrs worth of side quests, all these characters would be even blander lol. I wouldve always loved EVE despite everything though bc shes just super cool and Lily is so bubbly.

I legit love Levoire zones it has that Dead Space feeling to it forcing you to guns only.

Lily Progress bar is for her story part of the game however you don't get to play as Lily, but it would be cool if she was playable.

Yeah, I kinda figured they were androids off rip tbh. The storytelling is kinda meh compared to Nier, but Eve looks good 🤷🏾
