“this is all your dead relatives because nobody lived then” FUN FACT: The Victorians took photos of their dead relatives in order to remember them. They had a macabre sense of style.
People take pictures of their dead relatives now. All the Victorian standing up photos are mostly fake. They'd use stands to make sure kids stayed still for the long exposure time, and there were some elaborate death photos, but it wasn't a huge thing
For an even funner thing about Victorian death stuff, look up "Victorian hair art". It's not exactly what you're probably thinking of by the name alone, but hair _is_ the medium.
@@peterleavitt4952 Actually in Victorian England death portraiture was a huge thing as a way of remembering the dead. Definitely not fake and was a much bigger thing back then than it is now.
Fun fact from a construction manager: flat roofs aren't really flat. Otherwise, you're right, the water would just pond up. They are always slightly slanted towards a roof drain. Love watching your videos 😍
I always wondered about them and why the trend never really stuck on as a child but I have learned that they apparently arent that great like they don't last that long and snow won't go anywhere. Also I'm studying interior design now and we have to plan a little house in construction because why the hell not and the first thing we heard about roofs was that we shouldn't even dare to think about planing a flat roof because apparently that's complicated as fuck and they don't got the nerves to teach us:)

you could do each room representing a famous sims townie/family and their story? might be a way to combine your love of sims lore with a build challenge.
Recreate Hogwarts Houses with the four seasons representing the four houses. I honestly just love Seasons Build Challenges so why not incorporate the Hoggity Hogwarts into it? 👀

Build challenge: every floor is based on a season. Must have four floors, and basements count. Build for a family of 6 with a pet. Good luck and have fun.
"Today, guys, gals, and nonbinary pals" You have no idea how happy that made my little nonbinary heart to hear! I literally had to pause because I was so excited to hear it!

Build challenge idea: random number gen/wheel spin for what ROOM you have! I have 3 ideas how to execute this (with varying levels of chaotic energy): 1. Create a shell and spin a wheel for what room each room will be. Sucks if it's not fully functional or weird 🤷 2. Random number generator for how many of each type of room you have to create then try to create a shell of/organize/maybe decorate the house you get with X amount of rooms you now have. 3. Spin a wheel for a type of room and don't stop until you have one of every room (or one of every BASIC/function room for if you include things like laundry or home theater)! Love you Plumbella!!
Watching a new Plumbella video really brightens up my day. Also, your mischievous smile when you realized you had sworn on the gallery made my LOL. How about this for a challenge: each room represents a Sims Townie? Like, a room for Bella, a room for Eliza (the locked basement, hopefully), a room for Don Lothario etc.
You did so well with this challenge! I definitely vibed with the outside of the house, cottagecore is in and nobody said there was an era limit. Are pink bathtubs a 70s thing or a 50s thing? If they're not 70s, then you could choose to blend 2-3 different eras to make the worst bathroom ever. Brown and orange carpet, avocado toilet and sink, pink bathtub, that awful half-wall wood panelling, and a random patch of black and white checkerboard tiles. Ooooh, you could find a website or Buzzfeed article on some of the worst real estate photos, and try to recreate some of them in a Sims house.
oh my god this is genuinely the funniest video i think you have ever made. i just found out that my college isn't reopening this semester (which is for the best, but still difficult) and this totally brightened my day
I would love to see a Changing Rooms build challenge as I could really see you embracing the chaotic energy and complete fuuuckery of late 90s-early 00s interior design!!! ❤️
