Obviously that's a personal preference. It's a beautiful kitchen but I would have to have an island.

Easy enough to pop up a table if you need the extras space but then you can put the table away.

I like that she likes it. Too big. I dont like islands either. Dining on the couch is my fav

I don't think every kitchen needs an island... but then make a galley kitchen or have a peninsula. Why would you need so much empty space in the middle? It's just wasted... like a living room with all the furniture pushed up against the wall. Doesn't look right
