I have this CD. It came in the mail, at least 20 years ago, I guess because I was an ATT customer. I played it to death. It was the first I had heard this new voice of Joni's and I was shocked at the low and raspy sound that still had unbelievable punch, maybe more than ever.
Thank you so much for making this amazing benefit concert available. I came upon this CD after hearing Bjork's "Gloomy Sunday." This Larry Klein arrangement of "Stormy Weather" is so much like Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides" CD from 2000.
Noe, Byron -- Actually the Stormy Weather track is the only one that was not a Vince Mendoza arrangement. It is a vintage one from the 1940s, the version is mostly the work of Gordon Jenkins. Yes it is the same one used on Joni's 2000 album, Both Sides Now.
Bryan Walters Sorry for the delay Bryan, still sorta new at Google+ . Can & will make the Paula Cole video "You've Changed", give me 3-4 days. I was going to do all the songs anyway. If you subscribe you will get a message on Google+ (I think) will that work?
Such an astoundingly good rendition of this classic. Joni's voice is so incredibly soulful. Brings me to tears every damned time.
I love this! So well done. Beautiful. Much Respect! Subscribed too. 🙏

My experience with this CD as well (as described in my notes). Simply a wonder-filled music experience.
I have it from ATT, too! Amazing. No one's heard of it before UA-cam.
Fabulous! I recall an interview that Joni mentioned this concert. She hit it off with Bjork and was her inspiration to record Both Sides Now in 2000.
Mitchell is a legend and apparently an inspiration to Bjork. Great information and thanks for the positive feedback, glad you enjoyed this!
The sublime voice of Joni Mitchell
Beautiful causes / Beautiful and talented women. I've had this album since AT&T mailed it to me years ago.
Barry, million thanks for sharing this!
And thanks to you for watching!
WOW! Great song, singer, and musical arranger. Stormy Weather as played by orchestra only, try Michele LeGrand. Very lush big stringy group.

Really glad you enjoy this so much. I remember how enthralled I was the first time I listened to the AT&T CD. One of a kind.

Brutale....nella sua bellezza.
Grazie per aver commentato.
There’s your friend singing this for you and ny.
I'm looking around but cn't find any video of this amazing concert. Anyone?
Sorry, I have never heard or seen anything about any video of ths event. A little too far back for cell phone videos I expect.
Isn't that a shame?
+Frank Corley You had to be there . . .
Barry Henline will you upload the track from Paula Cole? its called "you've changed".

Done!
Do you have Roger Waters with Don Henley 1992 at same concert?
+SecretYoungLink007 Missed this message earlier somehow, sorry but I don't have this.
Sorry but I don't have that one.
As much as I admire Joni Mitchell, that arrangement with all those sloppy Streisand strings is pretty horrible. And where did she get the quaaludes?
