What a beautiful rose. I loved watching it come to life. I do not like painting from something I copied from the printer. Sometimes the colors are different. I will still print off a copy, but I use my large tablet to study what I am painting and enlarging all areas. When I was buying my Samsung tablet, the salesman wanted to know why in the world I needed such a large tablet and I explained for painting. I had to bite my tongue and not say "because women like large things!"🙃 The salesman said his girlfriend bought Samsung's largest tablet which comes with a pen. I certainly enjoy watching you paint and listening closely to what you have to say. I will be joining you at the beginning of the month. ☺️
I also suggest to open the reference and really dive in, really study. It is important in realistic painting. If I would be painting more looser paintings then yes - reference in the tutorial video would work perfectly
@@KristineArt but I often watch these on my phone .. I’m not even sure I know how to do that on a phone! And the image will be so small. Possibly an image next to your painting , even just occasionally, would be helpful ? However, I will certainly try downloading and keeping it on the screen when I am on my laptop . Thank you . I really enjoy the way you teach .

Download the reference and open right beside the tutorial. Zoom in the section I’m working on and really look and study it

It would be helpful to have the reference on the screen so we can see it while you are painting.
