when this drama was being filmed, female lead (rosy) was 20 while male lead (yushen) was 38 & married in real life but I like the fact they acted out their respective ages throughout the drama. She being childish but trying to be as grown up as possible and he being mature as a businessman. am particularly amused while watching (2:30-8:04) she acted like a love sick puppy following her fiancé around and him letting her because he wants her to understand the working man not just the loving man when he gets home.
I love how Lu Jin's mother has been hassling Shengnan about how she'll cause Lu Jin to make mistakes in business, but I think Nan Nan just saved him from MAKING a big mistake. Firing the entire analytics team would make no sense; he'd have to invest time, money, and other resources to hire an entirely new team, and by showing some leniency to this team he'll earn their loyalty and they'll probably work even hard for him next time. One look at Nan Nan and he just couldn't be that big of a hardass. I think she'll make him a better businessman in some ways. 😊
I am in the middle of watching The Romance of the Tiger and the Rose, a historical time travel film with this female lead as a script writer who gets transported into her own script. She created an interesting world where women are the leaders and she steal her sisters finace.
I notice they were speaking in English some of the time and Chinese the rest. Has anyone noticed that the main guy sounds a little British when he speaks English?
i assume male lead had to learn a few words of english because he is a businessman running an international conglomerate but I only heard male lead speak english in the scene where shengnan was sick and he stayed at her place to take care of her.
Remember, our sexy male lead's character has been strictly brought up by his domineering mother. This means he speaks his mother tongue of Mandarin, and to work in other parts of the world, he needs to speak English fluently. I expect he was sent abroad to learn English, and more than likely some French too. Ahh.. the life of the rich and famous.. be a polyglot, and in this case, handsome as all get out too. 😉🥰😍😚🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
His English in the car is terrible, like he had to learn it phonetically and is just making the sounds. His English in the apartment scene was much better.
