- Hello and welcome back to my Donkey Kong 64 101% gameplay walkthrough! Today, we'll be doing a two for one special and tackling Jungle Japes as both Tiny Kong and the new unlocked Lanky Kong! There's a lot to collect, so let's get to it.

The person who voiced Army Dillo also got to voice Kosha. She won a radio contest to voice the characters and she is the only American voice actor in the game. She had to fly from NY to the UK just to record. Fun fact she has also survived being struck by lightning (the only video game voice actor to do so)

The multiple blueprint turn ins is just for each kong, so you can collect multiple with a single character and turn them in all at once
I knew someone would say this or at least was hoping someone did.
I’m pretty sure he mentioned this in a past episode if I’m not mistaken. He also mentioned he preferred to turn the blueprints as he collected them.
@@connor_860 He mentioned in this episode that it didn't exactly work because he tried cashing in both Lanky and Tiny but it only worked once and proceeded to think either the information was wrong or was patched.
This comment was to try and clarify what was actually meant, even if we already knew he was just going to cash then in when he got them.

The perspective *really* makes the underwater mini-games trickier than they need to be.
I think what they mean is that if you for example have 3 blueprints with DK and then turn them in at once you get 3 bananas for DK. At least that is how i remember it. So to basically save time with one monkey
That's exactly it. You can turn all 40 blueprints in just 5 visit to Snide.
Lanky does have the best looking power move animation with the head spin
I just want to say, you're videos are so fun to watch! I've sat through the paper Mario play through twice and I think I'm going to have to watch it again :p
For turning in your blueprints, you have to turn in each kong individually, but you can turn in all the blueprints of one kong in one go.
Maybe they mean you can turn in multiple blueprints of one kong. So, you turn in all of Donkey's first, then all of Diddy's, ect.

We came from glitchfest, we stayed for Scykoh.
For the multiple blueprint parts, it HAS to be two that the same Kong can get (I.E. Two or more of DKs, Two or more of Diddys, etc.).
It's funny a few weeks ago I had the urge to watch a good DK 64 playthrough and I just couldn't find any I liked then all of a sudden you drop a new playthrough of it XD I'm loving it so far man, hope to see it through to the end might inspire me to try my own 100% completion
I guess you can turn multiple blueprints of the same kong at the same time, not blueprints of diferent kongs

Scykoh; I think what people meant was if you multiple blueprints from other worlds as the same Kong, you can turn those in all at once.
So if you didn't go into Snyde's once, got all blueprints for a single Kong, you will see the animation once and get all the Golden Bananas for those blueprints for that Kong. So the minimum visits to Synde is 5, once for each Kong if you have all of their blueprints.
As many have mentioned about the blueprints thing: you can turn all blueprint for a *specific* Kong at once. There is 40 blueprints in the game, so only 5 visits to Snide are necessary.
I believe that un the segment of turning in multiple blueprints at once, they meant to say when you got multiple blueprints of a single Kong at once, for example if you turn in several red blueprints as Diddy you'll get all the corresponding golden bananas, but not the ones of the other kongs

it would be funny if after tiny jumps in the log to get the banana, that the gate never opens and someone has to rescue here again

Fun fact: The creators of Donkey Kong 64 used the song “Monkey Man” by The Rolling Stones for inspiration.
In the Original Game U can Turn all prints for one Kong in once. But U have to do it with each Kong. So Only required 5 Times watching a cutscene. Just collect all prints in all lvl and than visit snifea

U can turn in 5 of dks blue prints at 1 snide and still get 5 gold bananas from the blue prints just without 5 animations thats what people meant

I think you misunderstood what they meant about turning in all the blueprints at once. It only turns in all the blueprints for a *single* Kong, it plays the animation and then gives you each Golden Banana one right after the other for every blueprint you have for that Kong.
I have a question: Are you using the Ultra HDMI mod to record gameplay on your N64? The quality looks pretty good for N64. Also cool video
Yup, I am! It does lead to you noticing just how low res the N64 is, but personally I enjoy the sharpness, especially on the UI. Some games like Pokemon Stadium 2 run at 640x480, but the standard is a measly 320x240. Some games run even lower, Conker's Bad Fur Day apparently only runs at roughly 290x210. I couldn't find any info on what DK64 runs at.

@@ScykohPlaysi started playing dk on emulator on my android and man, it looks so sharp compared to this. it didn't run flawlessly at first but i changed some settings and now it runs absolutely flawless, no graphical bugs or anything like that. last year i played conker, so awesome

I think what they mean with the Blueprint stuff is, you can get blueprints from different levels and you can hand multiple from the same kong on one go.
I think the word you are looking for is "blunana".

Lanky's sound effects are just hilarious.......so damn funny
His sound effects and his tiptoe are hilarious. I remember the first time playing as lanky just barely feathering the control stick and DYING from laughter. That was when i was still a little Reimu Hakurei
@@hakurei_mikorei I did the same yeah! Rareware totally mastered the silly goofy cartoony music and sound effects and gameplay. They had it 100%!

The music for Mad Maze Maul always got me so pumped up, it's one of the best tracks in the game. Shame that there aren't too many of the mini-game.

I think what they mean by turning multiple in is that you can collect multiple with one kong and turn all of that kongs in at once.
Turning in snide blueprints has you only needing to see it once per kong, so let's say you got 2 for DK, 4 for Diddy, 7 for Tiny, 1 for Lanky and 6 for Chunky, you only need to hand them in as each individual character, not all going in at once.

You can avoid all fall damage by holding Z (going into a crouch animation) right as you slide off a ledge if you didn't know. Can be a bit tricky at times but can save a lot of headaches!
I'm just glad that Scykoh didn't cheat us and did both tiny and lanky
About the whole turning in the blueprints in bulk thing, maybe you can turn in multiple blueprints of the same color in at once? Like all of Tiny's at once perhaps. Not 100% sure, been a minute since I played this game.
Yeah, that's how it works. You can collect the blueprints and return them all at once in the last world.

U can turn on multiple prints but it only works if u have mutipl for that kong

This playthrough got me to play this game and the sound "WooHoo ho hup" has been stuck in my brain ever since I unlocked lanky
The orangutang walk thing wheres hes on his hands probably is vastly faster, but for the reason that its a simpler two pace animation as apposed to lankys useral rubber person walk.
