This may be unpopular, but if the A's ended up permanently relocating to Sacto it would be preferable to Vegas in that they've been broadcast on TV and radio throughout the region for decades. Years ago I lived in Arcata, then later Redding, then S. Lake Tahoe--became an A's fan because of their available broadcasts.
The (AAA) Rivercats will probably add an extra 10-20 Road Games to their Schedule for the next 3-4 Seasons to avoid any potential conflicts the MLB A’s.
@@danmilosevich If that’s the Case for Weekend Games, the MLB A’s would have the Night Games. Also, I could see the installation of a New Field to endure the constant usage by both teams.
@matttim5095 Exactly! They looked amazing against the Cardinals the other night. Ruiz is looking freaking amazing!!! We got some wonderful prospects this year!!! Go A's!!!!!!!
Love the new logo: Athletics or A's. RC will be fine. AAA team sharing a stadium with MLB. No one cared about RC before (didn't know about them), more spotlight now.
When the Athletics play at Sutter Health Park, could the Cats play their home games on the Sac City College field? This was the home of the independent league team Sacramento Steelheads in 1999. Could the field on Sac State be an option (maybe with some upgrades)? I know these venues (even with upgrades) would hold significantly fewer fans, but it would only be temporary and possibly "better than nothing." Don't forget also, that the Cats can play at Sutter when the A's play on the road. I realize this could cause some problems for the college teams who already play there. Would these teams be willing to share their sites?
Yeah because looking at ten buildings is a great backdrop, give me a break. This park will feel like spring training, no one will show up to see the A's, they will show up to see major players. With teams like the Marlins, that park will be empty.

As an Athletics fan that now lives here in the Sac area...I say, OH YEAH!!! :)
Something has to give since the majors play 81 home games and the minors 75. No way that field can take that much use.
replace it at allstar break

Maybe day and night games for both also.

The River Cats are probably better than the A's right now
No
Have a's play the entire month of September at home, since RC will be done by then
It's tough to watch the A's. They don't even try.

are you stupid ,,,sacramento sells out the rivercats games every year for 25 years
What new logo. The logo won't change
good call
A's fans coming to see their team? No. Yankee fans, Mets Fans, Cubs Fans, Red Sox Fans, Dodger fans, Cardinal fans among others? Yes!
Stop crying and whining oakland didnt support raiders or the A's or even the warriors when there were in oakland gtfo.

Who in-the-world cares??????
about what?
Imagine the caliber of these baseball players? The a's suck.
But the other teams don't. The A's fans from Oakland WON'T be showing up.
@@hoapresthere are none… that’s why they’re leaving
did you see them commit 5 errors in 3 innings the other day - the River Cats are probably better
@@hoapres Will A's fans from Sacramento show up?
@@HeyUncleA There would be plenty showing up at games if the ownership gave a shit.
I hope they never find a home and have to wander the land going from stadium to stadium.
