Hey Martha, we do family kid friendly parties we drop the ball at 9pm west coast time midnight east coast time and then we all go home and go to bed. 😂 Silver Bells is a fav of mine as well. It sounds like you and I had a similar week of melting, I felt most of my stuff was a bit light as well, but I am thinking it’s because I am trying to use up older wax.
It’s so nice to have a tradition like that. Every year is slightly different with my family. I am also trying to use the older stuff first but today I came to the thought of splitting it in half with older and new, otherwise they will all be older when I get to them. I try that in February because I still have so much of my wax from my December melting basket I want to get to.

Homestead Holiday: love this one so much too; it reminds me of Christmas time at the Amish general store. I have it clubbed and I have warmed through 2 bars so far this season.
I have heard so many great things about that scent! I also love the real life bakery version of elephant ears in real life. I've just made myself hungry for them.😁
I usually try and stay up with Family and ring in the NY. Today i’m taking down decor but will wait to do the trees after Jan 1 😊 I need to gather wax for Jan melting!
I didn't plan on putting away all my Christmas warmers down but I did today. One warmer turned into three and then so on. The home decor will come down this weekend. Changing warmers is a chore! Last night we did family game night, we may do that again for New Years. It keeps me awake and it's fun. Happy New Years!

I have snow covered trees. I love cherries on snow. I'll have to pull this and see how it performs. Honestly, SMM doesn't work that great for me.😢So far, the great gatsby and twin flame have worked really well!
I feel like it performs better for me when it's fresher, at least that's what it seems like for mw. The ones I got and warmed last year did great for me.
I would almost always prefer to try something new vs repurchase something I've already had. I've been warming vendor wax for a year, and I can count on one hand the number of scents I've chosen to repurchase. I just like to try all the things 😂
Would you be able to tell me how salt Mountain melts performs for you? I was wanting to possibly order from there but was wondering about the performance. I love second and spruce’s performance and I didn’t know if it was similar or not. Thank you for any insight you can give me. I just don’t want to spend additional money on wax that doesn’t perform very well.
SMM generally performs very well for me, but it's hard to beat Second & Spruce. I do like the texture of SMM better. It's soft but not melt in your hands soft. I would recommend SMM but with any new wax in a different home, I suggest you start small just to see. It's a vendor I plan to buy more of again.

I understand that completely. Little by little I'm using more than I am bringing in. This didn't happen overnight and it will take some time to get it to a manageable state but you got this!
Before marriage and kids, I was the one that went out with friends on New Year's eve; usually to the local nightclub & restaurant; I wore so many Express and Forever 21 outfits LOL; now I don't celebrate at all.
I worked at Express a long, long time ago! I remember those New Year's mornings when I'd see the sunrise because we were still celebrating, and we'd end up at Denny's for breakfast because it was what was open at 4 or 5 am. Good times, but now that I've done that, I no longer need to. Nor do I want to now. I'm too old and tired.

Watched this as I organized my second and spruce bin and pulled out Jan wax ❤ I also had a meh melting week last week. Maybe we are getting nose blind
