My favorite is the Liebherr 926 compact. It's not huge and not heavy, so it's not hard to transport. However, it still has amazing detail, and it is able to do more than the other two, because it has an adjustable boom and a dozer blade.
Computer cnc production technology is regardless of Germans or Chinese. We can tell by looking at well-made items. The hydraulic technology of the k970 is amazing when used directly. It causes problems by assembling faster than mechanical defects.
I like all three. Each size has it's own use depending on the job to do. I have been a heavy equipment operator for over 15 years and have thousands of hours operating excavators loaders ect. I just discovered these on you tube. I find them fascinating. I've known about them. I'm retired now and would love to get into this hobby. I don't know what's available in the United States or the limitations on availability.
Generally it can be said about hydraulic RC models, lower or higher cost, the complicated part is the hydraulic & remote control system, to maintain it and keep it working fine. Also the track system and stones jamming it is a typical challenge, low or high cost models. Some types of gravel is better to just keep clear of ) It's an good idea to always have somefew trackpads in spare, as the links are usually aluminium alloy and can snap off when one got powerful track motors. Controary to 1:1 equipment, in the scale model field getting technical support from the suppliers are very limited (except maybe from a couple of Germany companies manufacturing models in the $10K range), so one are more and less left to one self figuring out possible techinical issues. This most like due to keeping costs down. On the other hand there are suppliers that are good at getting you spare parts. Luckily there are groups on Facebook where one can ask other owners for help, and generally more and more people around the neighbourhood owning such models. Advice to check out the group on Facebook 'R/C Trucks and Construction', US based, for advice regarding different suppliers of RC exavators. A well known supplier in US that has sold lower cost models for some years is Rc4wd. com. They got 2 models, 4200xl and Volvo 360, manufactured in China, like most models. Same hydraulics and electronics. Main difference is the Volvo is more detailed, and heavier. The 4200 got weak track motors, unlikely to break the links, but not much climbing power, and the 360 got more powerful motors that can easily break the links if not stones get jammed into them. There are many ok working models in the 2.5K - 5K usd range to purschase online. With the models priced above 5K, what one mainly pay extra for is more scale details, looking more realistic, while the hydraulics and electronics is not much different when it comes to Chinese models in the bellow and above 5K price range. The German models is one step above the Chinese when it comes to hydraulics and electronics. The models in this video are in the 8-12K range, high end. The 970 is the most high end model produed in China, at about 8K, but usually it's German models that are in the 5K+ range. Fumotec, Premacon. Again, if one are new with in Rc hydraulic models, it's good to seek some advice in a group/forum before making a purchase, if possible
Amazing scale RCs all in one place and that last video segment as you parked them with booms raised makes me envy you!! The price is up there though but for an enthusiast nothing is too expensive. If I had just one of them......OK thats a stretch.....I meant, all 3 of them plus a couple of dump-trucks and dozers here in Africa, I'd make a $€£ killing from showcasing them. I'd get a contract just like in the real world and whistle like a small boy well into my sunset days!
The oil connection on the hitch is a great idea However it's not practical, it's messy and oil goes everywhere. The table under the wide bucket is wet with oil and you get a film of oil everywhere. The metalhobi system is the same. I've just removed mine from my machine. It's a shame as it's a great idea just too messy for me. Metalhobi hmk490 Hidromek is my favourite 👌
I like comparison videos, as someone who thinks about getting into this hobby its a big help. I am now a little older and look for high quality models only. Btw, transmotter prices over 1000.- are they crazy? Never worth that. I love the look and size of the 970, but why is it so loud when he turns ;D.
Great comparison video. Very informative. All these models are fantastic in their own right. The prices are very steep bug you do get what you pay for unfortunately way out of my reach. Could x you do a comparison on some of the cheaper model ranges like the Huina 1580 type models.
Nice video. Voice was too low though, and I didn't get the point of having all three on at the same time. It would be easier to judge the quality if you have one on at a time.
Hallo, könnt ihr mir eure Einstellungen bezüglich Hydropumpe verraten? Standardmäßig läuft die Pumpe ja immer konstant und dreht nicht rauf wenn die Leistung gebraucht wird. Danke und Grüße
I like the bigger size. So of that group I like the 970. Although the loud motors in it are a let down. I have a 954 cause that's what I can afford, but first choice is a Mother PC700. Have you ever gotten your hands on one and done a review? Please do if you havent yet.
Hello I’m from Scotland 🏴 uk and I’m looking to buy the Liebherr 970 SME can you tell me a web page so I can go to to obtain one please as I just can’t seem to find from here as they are not opening to this Model thank you
That shop belonged to the fabricator of the Volvo, and they have stopped production. One can only get the Volvo second hand now. There are some for sale now and then at different facebook groups. Other Volvos avaiable onlinefromdifferentshops is a EC160, and a EC380
@@Rcheavyequipment The EC480 from THS is no longer in production. Production ended summer of 2021. Some dealers might have one in stock. Usually this model was producted only on order, 9-12 months delivery time.
Hello, you have the chance to have try a lot of rc excavator (ths, fumotec, premacon…) for you wich is the best model or your top 3 in all excavator that you ever try?
Basically, there are $40,000 worth of toys!!! I have bought my 2019 BMW 745e Iperfomance Xdrive with 900 miles at 1/4 into pandemic for $50,000. Did I make a right call?
Would you say the Premacon Leibherr 956 is worth 1.5X the price of the Kabolite? I suppose it’s a personal question. For me, yes, the Premacon is worth it. Why? 1) Precision 2) Service and Support - when you buy the Kabolite off of some dude on Facebook, what kind of service/support will you receive when something inevitably breaks down. 3) Price - the Kabolite is now about USD$9000 online. Some people got theirs for $6500, but I don’t see anything below $9k anymore. That’s not much less than a Premacon.
You can get the Kabolite directly from manufacturer "CY Hobby" $7500 shipped. But if you want it with warranty etc get the Amewi 22519. It's the same but Amewi will give you the warranty.
So jelly...ummmmm, I'll take all three with all three RC's please and thank you...I'll email you my street address and overnight shipping too ok...... I think in the review video of the big Liebherr 970, you mentioned that its not made in Germany but in China, correct? I'm a bicycle mechanic and as you probably know, the electric bike has become quite a huge hit... globally.... and one absolute fact, when it comes to buying an e-bike, you want one that is going to work proper and actually last(obviously). So you get one with a reputable name. The e-bikes we sell at my shop are equipped with Bosch motors and batteries. As the mechanic, the ones that are coming in with problems are no names from China. Now with that. being said....the no names from China are pretty cheap looking as far as components, materials and weld lines, etc...i have to say, the 970 looks really well made and engineered. In your honest opinion do you think it will stand the test of time? And one more question....I'm sure all three of these excavators are pretty much ready to go right outside the box, right? Do you have any experience or thoughts on LESU RC's? as a model builder, I think it would be kinda fun to build my RC from the ground up. That way I'd know every little detail about it....especially if something started acting up....anyways....THANKS for your vids as they make me "so jelly"
IMO, the situation is roughly like this; China can make about everything one can imagine today, from cheap stuff not lasting long, to high end things. It's much about what on will pay. In Europe and North America the consumers are mainly exposed to the cheap stuff, that's what the importers have focused on. Anyway, this Liebherr 970, and Lesu equipment are among the high end Rc stuff from China. The metalwork fully compete with the German ones, while so far the chinese put in a bit cheaper electronics and hydraulics. It's possible to replace later on when worn out, with some high end German parts, if one wish. Lesu are great machines. Remember apply thread sealent on all hydraulic connectors, like Loctite 542.
You have all the links above, bro. Just check them! Generally, each one costs about USD15-20K. There are some Chinese vendors doing very good work now that cost about $6-8K.
The Chinese are doing a great job with the metal work for sure, like the 970. Still they feel tempted to put in cheap electronics and hydraulic solutions. But just a matter of time they come close up to, but not beyond, the german models also concerning electronics and hydraulics
@@Rimrock300 Not sure about that, because then the price would go up! It's already 33-50% less than the Germans, and more expensive and it would be too close. I just took delivery of a ScaleArt construction vehicle. The workmanship and detail is incredible... but it's also 2x the price.
@@Fluterra I will not comment too much, but I got a feeling that the German manufacturers will have a hard time in some years because of foregin competition. Some will survive by have most parts fabricated abroad, others will not be able to reorganize and disapear. Naturally I hope I am wrong.
Wow! These are incredible pieces of machinery! Thanks for the video!!
My favorite is the Liebherr 926 compact. It's not huge and not heavy, so it's not hard to transport. However, it still has amazing detail, and it is able to do more than the other two, because it has an adjustable boom and a dozer blade.
Agree 👍
3 good excavators in my opinion, the difference is about price and model and weight. Good comparative 👍
If only the Liebherr's didnt have such noisy servos! I think the compact still wins it for being so smooth and accurate.
That 970 is awesome!!!
My favorite excavator is The Mother PC700 excavator made by Paolo but all three excavators you have on the table are beautiful machines 👍

i like the liebehr 970 and the 926,
