Dude, I didn't think I'd shed a tear over Stephan. I do hope he watched this video, cause it would be cool for him to know how big of a help he was to you.

They have allot to lose most of the time and taking the risk of being backstabbed by a random dick means they just shoot on sight. Holy shit, this is one of best DayZ videos I've ever seen...I was immediately engaged. I have to get myself a PC AGAIN. I've been playing daily on Xbox but the smooth gameplay on PC is very enticing. Lost my PC back in 2016 and haven't really got myself back into despite the 10 plus years of amazing adventures. Thank you for this high quality video.
Hearing how you speak to people is somewhat refreshing Most people keep their voice low and sorta give the vibe of not actually "wanting" to talk When you speak it's very friendly, cheerful and welcoming. Its sad the way Stephan went out but at least he made it that far with you
Steffen* but yeah, what is it with that voice, he sounds like someone who should work with children, maybe a kid's tv show host or someone who teaches or instructs ppl. So damn positive, adventurous and un-judgemental. I want him to read stories for me all day.
I love this movie. It was a sad time when Stephan lost his life. It always happens that someone we like in a movie is killed. :( I hope that one day Stephan finds this video and gets into contact with you and play more games together. He has a heart of gold.
Damn your smooth edits, silky voice, charming accent, and cinematic experience. I’ve never even heard of this game before and I’ve already watched 3 of your videos. Why can’t I stop watching?
Oh my god, I almost never comment on anything but this time i have to. I just found your channel a few days ago and watched through all the series you put out and thinking yesterday, how awesome it would be if you uploaded another episode. You are also the only reason i started to play dayz again for the first time since the arma mod and already had to experience some amazing moments like meeting other people, some friendly others not so :) Thank you for all the amazing content!
In the same boat as Kazza here. It's been years since I played DayZ but am now addicted to the game, thanks to you. Your content is truly spectacular! hope you recovery goes smoothly, COVID's not fun at all. looking forward to your future videos :)
Thank you GM, glad to hear you’re enjoying the content and the game! And I’m getting there when it comes to Covid, still feel tired but it’s getting better :D
Of all the adventures I've watched on your twitch this was my favourite. The map, the fights, exploring new territory and and the sheer intensity of hunting that guy at the entrance to the bunker. iirc there were two pack of wolves agro-ed and they were soo loud it was deafening. Great vid brother... Thanks! :)
So glad you're back man, literally when I first started watching I was in a tough spot mentally and over thinking tons of stuff. Your videos kept me company and best of all happy! Thanks for such great content Sour
God, honestly, someone could take this and turn it into a real movie, narration and all, just live action. When you and Stephen were scoped in to the left of that orange tree I got up close to the monitor to try and spot where they were. Hands down the most captivating gaming content on YT, if I'd smashed the subscribe button any harder I'd be down a mouse.
Simply amazing. What a Impressive way to bring us this adventure. The music, the map and the challenges were perfect. Thank you Sour and thank you Stephan!!
Hey Sour, I'm new to your channel. I play Hunt Showdown and before that cs. I never really got into the sim survival genre and didn't care to, couldn't see the appeal. but your videos are astonishing. Absolutely remarkable. I'm completely addicted to the cinematic quality of your edits. Thanks for sharing your awesome adventures and keep up the good work.
Thanks for the upload, love your channel! Edit. Very “Last of Us” vibes with your music, I cannot wait for your new videos when they drop. I love your videos bc they make me think of the few times (like tonight) that I’ve managed a 3v1 squad wipe when I’ve been playing solo and realize that you do that all the time. And you make it look easy. I’m a lowly PS4 console player and tonight I managed to wipe an entire 3-man squad at Myshkino tents. They ambushed me and somehow I prevailed. Quite a few too many beers in I decided to log on and play a little bit. I was lucky, tanked a few rounds before locating the shooters, used the AK to unload and wipe em out, somehow managed to flank the third and get lucky to get him too. Only damage was that I almost ruined my plate carrier and helmet, but otherwise held on and stayed alive. Moments like this are why I will never stop playing this game. DayZ is such an awesome game. Shoutout to how hard it is to master this insanely difficult game, on stream, making it look easy. You are a total pro dude.
Dude your editing is so clean and so pleasing as a viewer. This is always the most calming, but also the most intense content. Appreciate the work brotha
I just bought DayZ on Jan 24, 2023 as a result of seeing it on sale for the Lunar New Year. I have played Tarkov and Rust in the past so I was already used to not trusting anybody I encounter as I traveled. I don't really understand the crafting mechanics in DayZ so figured i'd check out UA-cam to see if there were any guides. I had watched a couple DayZ video prior to this but decided to get side-tracked and click on this video. As a player that has only 3.5 hours into DayZ, I have to say.....Thank You. This video is a masterpiece. The way this video was able to suck me in and divert the world's problems away from me for an hour left me speechless. Stephen added a whole aspect to the video I didn't expect to see after having played Rust/Tarkov for years. It shows this community can have heart to heart interactions and true friendships form as a result. As soon as you found out Stephen had been shot, my heart sank. It was a rush of emotions that I was not prepared for. I hope you continue to produce content such as this one because you've gained a new subscriber. Thank you Sour.
The way you meet and interact with other players is very special you have a kind and gentle way of working together when you’re not murdering them from a mile away lol
I’m a casual dayz player and occasional video maker. The amount of time and effort that must have gone into this is insane. Great job. All I can do is say thank you for the epic 1 hour of entertainment
Sour, this really was an adventure to watch… normally i dont like long dayz videos… but i could not stop watching this one… what an amazing video… impressing! 👍👍👍😎
Recently got back into DayZ after a 5 yr hiatus. I got into PC gaming because I saw the Arma 2 DayZ mod back in 2011 and me and about 7 friends built PCs to play it. I still think the mod was better than standalone but man gettin back on DayZ brings back some nostalgia. Its so intense. At any point your life could be ended and I love friendly encounters. You never know what you are gonna get. There could be hours of slow, uneventful gameplay but then there are those moments you remeber for years to come. Just found your channel yesterday and Ive watched a few vids now. Great stuff!!!
This game, this map, your storytelling, your editing, man.... what a ride :) So good! Brings me back to all the drama I had in this game back in the early days, maybe time to revisit this game soon
You have a very positive tone of speech during even the most violent encounters on Dayz, even when some random person rip out your internet cable you seem calm 😂👌
Sour, you really inspire me. I caught myself more times than I could count with my jaw dropped to the floor watching this cinema masterpiece. Also, the fact you added music into this from the 2009 MW2.........you have me as a fan for life.
Think this will be my forever favourite episode. Music and everything fits so well, 3rd time watching this and that moment you walk over Stephen’s body hits me hard every time
Man I'm loving these videos. The music, players you meet, the adventure and the real gritty survival feel you get from this is just mind blowing and 10/10. It's got me playing dayz again.
Man, that was intense! I'm so thankful for people like you that upload these video's. I got to experience something, in a game I might never play, that was truly awesome. Even if I do end up playing the game, I likely would never be able to make it to that bunker. What a fantastic video. The thing I like about this game that Rust does not have is that death really means something. It makes a huge difference and because you can't just spawn back in, making friends is important, and that adds depth to the whole experience.
This is so silly, but anyone know the song beginning from 43:57? Soursweet puts together the best soundtracks for his videos and I wish I could find some. Tried searching the lyrics I could just make out, and even listening apps but due to the dayZ sounds they can never pick it up hahah.
@@Lovagelamb No worries. Somebody else mentioned the song name earlier in the comments section so I just made sure to pass it on. I'd have never found the song otherwise
This was a amazing episode!. Stephan was just a total stranger but you both managed to create a friendship out of nothing. There was nothing preventing the both of you from shooting each other in the back. I'm relatively new to this game and the trust factor in this game is awesome. Because it's so fragile. I just love it that the mechanics of the game encourage making friends, but in a way that keeps the trust on a knife edge. The more you play alongside a new ally the more your trust develops. A very well crafted game. I hope you managed to find Stephan later on in the real world and share your experience. Great video dude, you got us emotionally invested and it was awesome!

Sour is an oasis, in the middle of jerk-Ustreamers in DayZ. Thank you for preserving the little bit of positive roleplay only this game allows these days.

That shot at 14:08 was ruthless. What a setup and ambush!
Very good video! Downloading Deerisle right now lol
it really hit me at 54:10 when you opened up your radio and said “Hello…Stephan..?” Hoping for a response. Actually shows how good of a person you are in real life.
Can't believe I only just found you! This is more fun than playing DayZ!
This is most immersive and amazing vid i've seen in a longest while, insane quality! Thanks a lot!
Thank you so much!
55:46 jumpscare watching it at 3am lul. GREAT PROGRESS TO FOLLOW. That place was jawdroppingly awesome and big. Felt like you played a different game.
I see it all in the comment section and I want to continue the praise. The quality and editing of your vids is amazing. From the transitions to the clarity of your voice.
Possibly the best DayZ movie I've ever seen. ❤
Beautiful Map with some cool sights.
Thank you very much for this great entertainment and the time you spend editing these films.
Dude love the fact you used the 21 Will Pacquin guitar on this. This is such an old video you probably won’t see this, but I love the way you put these stories together man. Keep it up
Sour!!! What an amazing story, the editing is next level it draws you into the content. Enjoyed every second of the video.
Sour is an oasis, in the middle of jerk-Ustreamers in DayZ.
Thank you for preserving the little bit of positive roleplay only this game allows these days.
Discovered this channel some time ago but subbed today (idk why)
And i must tell that dayz stlories are on another level
Thank you very much, I appreciate that a bunch :D
That video was great. So worth the time length. Great job. I actually was sad it ended.
I don't play DayZ, but your videos are addicting to watch. Really nicely told with a calm, smoth voice. Thanks!!
More entertaining then most of the netflix series i watched in 2022. Thanks for your work and keeping one of the best games alive. greetings from germany.

Great vid! Loved Stephen or Stephan either way what a cool guy! He deserved to be honored and maybe even and invitation for another chapter. I really enjoyed this!
These are so well made, very cinematic in the editing of like names and stuff.
This video is better than most movies that come out of hollywood. You sir did a phenomenal job.
Absolutely epic buddy. I’ve never watched someone played DayZ before and you made the Experience feel like a movie. Definitely gonna watch more of what you make!
