Tiaras are nice boats. A little more expensive, but worth it. Is there an ISO certification for this boat? I would imagine it should at least have a B rating, if not an A.
Fantastic accommodation. Great if you have a row with the wife and she's booted you out of the bedroom. It's the best I've seen for this size vessel, usually don't get that 3rd room, albeit bunks.

Technically the only cut off limit for a captains license requirement is your checkbook. Beyond that it’s all up to your insurance company if they will ensure you on a certain size boat based on your experience. In most cases if you’re not experienced on a certain vessel or have no experience they will require a set amount of training hours with a Coast Guard license Captain.
David Attridge Sure, I’ll try. The bonding system protects all the metal parts that protrude through the hull of the boat into the water. A green wire is attached to each metal part. All these wires run back to the transom and are attached to submerged zinc that is through bolted to the transom of the boat. Electrical current in the water is able to travel from the through hull metal parts via the bonding wire to the transom zinc. The transom zinc is a sacrificial or less noble metal then the bronze alloy that the through hull fittings are made of. The zinc will be burned away instead of the underwater metals of the boat. If you don’t change the zinc before it’s wasted away the through hull metals will start to show the effects of galvanic corrosion as they are no longer protected by the a lesser metal. The type of zinc used will be different depending on the water your boat floats in I.E. fresh vs salt vs brackish. You should check your bonding system wires before each season. If you see signs of corrosion where the bonding wires are connected to the through hull parts or transom removed the wire and clean it’s terminal.

Once the your sales crew gets off the floor next to an empty box of wine, they might demonstrate the ease of getting out of the dock and most importantly the ease to get back even in during adverse conditions.Better yet, let those choice customers a use the Joy Stick in all of it capability. In Sturgeon Bay this summer there were 2 times we did not take a boat rides because it was going to be too stressful getting back to the dock with my IO/B3 Stern Drives. Still had a nice pizza at Sonny's in Sturgeon Bay with our car.. If you can sell me a boat up here Ben let me know. Otherwise, thanks for the videos. Great job. Great walk through! Nicely done. It would have been great to actually see the transom storage off the swim platform rather than just the dock lines. But otherwise well done. A couple comments on the layout. The 3rd stateroom (if it can even be called a stateroom) is worthless imo. Too small and claustrophobic to be useful. A waste of space. I would opt for another option for that space. Also, not sure I like the joy stick control permanently located on the arm rest. That would take getting used to but I can picture an elbow accidentally bumping it while underway. Otherwise another high quality beautiful Tiara.
OK this boat is impressive when he showed the V birth I was like wow thats nice, thinking it was the only state room then he showed the bathroom day head or on suite and I was oh this boat is cool THEN he showed the actual full beam master suite and I started thinking I want this boat then the full bath for the master suit I fell off my chair, then there was a small third state room (that would make a great little computer station work desk instead of a third sleeping area only my opinion ) not to mention the cockpit ,galley and salon for a boat of this size the area was well laid out nothing about this boat says cramped like your typical smaller boat you know small heads etc, I remember I was 18 in 1988 and went to work for Dunlap towing and Foss maritime ( Tugboat outfits ) and the boat I was a deckhand on back then was just built and had what is now normal but back then new technology really was the electronic toggle steering and this boat with its steering is great, I have been looking at boats mostly Trawlers or Nordhavn because boats the size of this C49, as I stated before are too cramped with layouts and single staterooms no galley really etc, Tiara has now become a boat I will keep in mind when deciding on what kind of boat I would like to get this boat is great, one thing I am curious about is a boat this size usually wouldn't be good for ocean travel because of size and sea worthiness but this boat definitely has the room and accommodation to take a one or two week voyage, do you have an opinion on if its big enough to go across the ocean to Hawaii it would be comfortable, would it be safe for a boat this size, I was really surprised at how much room below deck this boat has and the whole boat , sorry for the grammar and sentence structure on this post
Thanks Geoff, I think the C49 is large enough to stay on for two weeks. Its a costal cruising boat, so no trips to Hawaii:-( with that being said we do have people run boats like this up and down the west coast from Canada to Mexico and beyond. Thanks for Watching and commenting!

It should be illegal to count the swim platform as boat length, this is a 44 foot boat now a 49 foot boat. Also Tiara are made just a short drive from where I live and I actually really like their boats, this is just a cop out of a way to add a larger number on your model number.
I'm really impressed with what Tiara is doing across the range. The interior decorator for this boat has done an outstanding job 👍

Wow! Style, Elegance, Features, well thought-out layout and attention to detail for a boat this size. Impressive! LOA is actually 50' 3" btw.

Price is roughly the same depending on options. I have a 2021 coming in soon!
Also the c49 has only half hull length available for cabin space. Rest is waisted on propulsion. I assume for the very same reason as with the C44

While i like this yachts, my dream yacht would be a Tiara C44 or C53 because of their svelte form factor! This one looks like a whale in comparison!

The C49 has ocean air blinds the pull down over each window. It also comes with a privacy cover for the windshield
