Dandy talking like Don Corleone through the mid game here
“You settle 4-3? On the day of my daughter’s wedding?”
The passive aggressiveness in catan is some of my favorite content to watch.
Not sure if the passive aggresiveness is extremely weird or just how catan gamesmanship is but was fun to watch everyone doing it and rebuttal with more passive aggresiveness lol
@@Kosticous Yeah it depends, personally I think it's a little much sometimes cuz there's no need to be that annoying and rude but it seems to be how danny plays.
Aggron is a chill guy
I find myself rooting for Aggron too. What a chill guy!
Red = King of Noobs 😂 wanting a 3 for 1 trade when he has the 3 for 1 port. 19 cards and goes for dev instead of city 🤦♂️
6 points from blue, Drew on 5 points and 3 devs bullying blue into feeling guilty for talking LOL was painful and hilarious to watch at the same time.
literally on 6 like blue PLUS 3 DEVS and talking about blue as if he's on 9.5. And debating who is more dangerous whilst just crushing them lol.
I was clear I had knights which should be factored into the conversation. Once that conversation came to light, I gave the board information to balance the robs. In terms of production, it wasn’t even close when you consider me vs blue.
@@tobiasobermayr501 lmao if you know anything about the game, youd know that Drew was being perfectly reasonable there
34:48 I REALLY wanted the city over the 4/3 but I still didn’t have it at this point and I had already risked the 7 rolling with too many cards for enough dice rolls so I decided not to let it go another 4 dice rolls. And then when ore got mono’d, that set my 5/9/10 city back even farther! That was my one shot to have a chance to win this match. Anyways, it was fun playing in this one, all the way to the end.!
I see you teammate. Of course Dandy doesn’t know you are a #MidwestRockstar lol
Great game! Honestly it was tense but I feel it was very maturely played by all involved.
great video man love the content
i say this because i enjoy every video so i already know this will be as well
Didn’t even watch the video- troll haha
@@brettrush5001i’m watching it as we speak dandy planning out is a genius
very impressed you were able to win with your intital setup, nice win
I watched this earlier on twitch... i was shocked at how it went down🎉 the end was insane
30:45 it was awfully quite after that. Love the talk in this game.
What a game 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Dandy + VC = better than every sales instructional video ever
Great game all around
Impressive stuff from drew lowest production takes the win?!?! Knows when to execute a non steal. Another unorthodox setup. Drew is the Hikaru of Catan xD
what a game!
30:06 I was wondering why you went for Devs rather than the second city? Was it pacing or army? I was thinking the second city could help with production right? Did the decision also depend on goodwill of the board?
Perfect game 😎😎😎
What time does dandy stream??
good game, unorthodox was quite the wild card
Hehe and I was really forced to be after I chose 5/9/10 as my 1st placement. If I held the 8 or 9 cards in my hand to save for the city and risked the robber not rolling instead of building on the 4/3 my chances would have been better. But knowing my luck I would have 7’d out. But perhaps that big risk was necessary to take in this match.!
The chatter during these games damn, got hyperfixated on this game and here I ended up, started playing a little on Colonist too
@DandyDrew Hope everything is good outside CATAN. I am not sure exactly why but it felt like you were not in your best state of mind. Hope it's just a bad read.
Thanks for asking! ❤️ normal stresses of life and personal challenges like anyone else. I always strive for my best self in the moment though. Stay great!
Someone else doesn't enjoy people breaking non-binding deals?
Just saying- rn on colonist the rank 2 player is a player from Florida… I bet it’s you drew
What app is he using to play catan?
Dandy y the nonbinding 😢
won him the game
Wow this table talk was so annoying, makes me not want to get competitive about catan if it’s just arguing for an hour, good content tho
9:50 to skip placing stage
you psychologically torched blue in this game WOW. And green too. WOOOOW. These are such nice guys getting DESTROYED by a master communicator and manipulator. In the best way what this game is about.
psychologically torched is a bit extreme my guy. the game was close give it a rest.
@@awesomeaggron5236I’m here for the grandiose, over the top comments in this comments section HAHA, also it was fun to play with you in this match Aggron, as along with the others
@@UnorthodoxMasterOfGames was great playing with you too man gg
@@awesomeaggron5236 I mean I think you guys played well generally. Drew just dominated the narrative A-Z and had you guys defending yourselves and your positions all game, even when Drew was at 9 points you had to defend wanting to stay at 9 with 0 cards. It's subtle, who is constantly dominating the storyline which in the end decides most games. It wasn't meant as a burn towards you, Drew does this to most players that's why he is so good.
@@awesomeaggron5236 the "were just trying to prolong the game you don't have to make it personal" whilst drew almost has the win in hand. He just totally has you guys in the bag. The narrative should be Drew is on 9 with 7 cards and no one should even be talking abt you as the threat. So this is what I mean.
8 ore block was a bad block . It was a revenge block
Like, comment, watch
Poor collaboration at the end if I was aggron I would of traded red to cut drew road to 9/2.
Aha, the nonbinding has been noted.
It was the wheat roll. The wheat snag was too good for my end game. I’m a bad man.
Aggron was "chill" until Drew took the win away from him, then he went personal. Not cool!
I am confused by the statement the win was taken away from me. I sat on 8 points for almost 20 minutes, while the rest of the table caught up, it happens. I was annoyed when he was trying to feed road to red. points matter in this league that we are playing in, and I will be honest I really didnt get that upset.
@@awesomeaggron5236Ok. But his only way to win was to feed road to red. Totally legit!
Pizza crying like a baby while doing well.. Then the salt from Aggron.. lol
I like watching Drew's content and am a big fan of the channel. I've also seen enough to completely understand why players get frustrated when they play him.
It’s all part of the competitive spirit. Both Pizza and Aggron are great players and guys. Let’s not bring others down!
I also agree with choco. I am difficult and hardheaded to deal with on a few levels but that’s also the reason I’ve had a large amount of success while playing. No one said it was easy 😜
@@dandydrew This game really is Monopoly 2.0. It's the friend ender lol.
Man I gotta say I like the ranked games much more than the voice chat games. The table talk from drew is just not it.
The ranked games are helpful for you to learn the basics and fundamentals.
The voice chat games are how you learn to play against players with established fundamentals.
Understand! Voice chat games aren’t for everyone. I also have a decent amount of reputation play that adds levels of challenge to these games to where I feel compelled to push back if I see it.
there are no catan pros, its just click bait
I’m not a Catan pro; I mainly play Cities and Knights semi-competitively, but make no mistake these guys I was playing against here are at a decently high level and it’s only onwards and upwards for them.!
@@UnorthodoxMasterOfGames base game is not that complex. "pros" just delay the game at a certain point and at the end its RNG who wins. in many games 1-2 players just obviously blunder giving the pros an advantage
“…just obviously blunder”. That’s like saying Magnus Carlsen only beats his opponents because they make a mistake before he does. Well… duh! The hallmark of a top tier player is that they aren’t going to make consistent or losing mistakes. If the game isn’t complex to you and you think you understand it well, you should play some tournaments and show us how it’s done. 👍
