It obviously makes a ton of sense from the Cards perspective. But I actually see it making a lot of sense for the Chargers as well. I see both of those picks being viewed as very valuable from the Chargers' perspective. I can see the Chargers trying to pry one of the other first-round picks the Cards would have after doing the deal with Minnesota, but I don't see anything higher than #11 and #27. The thinking from our perspective is it's baked into the cake it will take at least three firsts to come off of pick #4. The added third next year would be a nice sweetener and insurance for the Vikings to secure their QB of the future. It would also make it easier for the Cardinals to throw in their own third next year to help sweeten the deal to move back up. I have done mock for the last 10 years and I know good players when I see them. Two big draft that I had right on the button AJ Brown was a great pick for Tennessee and I knew that kNeil Harry was a bum and OJ. McDuffie was a steal for the KC Chiefs in 2021. Also the Draft that Josh Allen(QB) was a franchise QB he just needed quality WR. I know my football and I have drafted better than the Patroits staff the last six years? How Crosby from the Raiders was taken in the 4th round ,who I had in the second round.

Slammed your last mocks Panthers picks. I like the Wilson pick, but passing on the cleanest IOL Barton for the 2nd ranked C then immediately giving ARZ Barton to play C with the next pick.. I could see it, but I don't love it lol. And I'd go Leggette at 39 for that Evans X role and hope CB Green fell to 65 for a man corner. This season is ALL about giving Bryce what he needs to develope, Def is going to take a back seat to that.
Good video. I would love if the Cowboys could get Fashanu in the first and leave Tyler Smith at LG. TEEJ, something I'm not sure people think about when they make an argument for Xavier Worthy, or Troy Franklin in this case, going to Miami because they use motion a lot. They do, but you can only effectively motion 1 player at a time. They utilize motion to help Tyreek Hill. They're not going to waste that motion on someone less talented like Franklin only to screw over Hill. Food for thought, maybe I'm not thinking of something.
You’re not wrong! But places that would utilize that motion is where I’m most comfortable taking Franklin. The opportunity Cost of not having hill in motion would suck buttt he’s god enough to make it work otherwise. And I’d rather have Hill not in motion with Troy F doing that instead of Hill in motion and Berrios as my 3
@teej11 Berrios is an excellent 5 though!! I wonder as Reek ages, how reliant he is on that motion. None the less, TRUE dat. They could definitely use an upgrade at WR 3

Regarding Chargers: 1. ASJ was playing Nickel a bit under Staley, but his build and inability to tackle forces him to play outside more. I would be surprised to see him play in the nickel to often under Minter, who as you said values tackling from the slot. Sainristil would really be my ideal fit here. 2. I‘m not entirely sure what to think about your chargers draft 😅 Johnny being the only sure fire starter here kinda irks me. JC would have to beat out Pipkins, and if so, you sunk 9M$ paying for him. Coleman comes into the league as much of a project as QJ, if not more. 2 of those guys in the room? I would be shocked to see much of a passing production honestly. Carson I haven’t watched to much, but I don‘t feel like he would be much of a upgrade. With the corners that were available earlier and still are at later picks, I would not feel great about that selection. In general I think, if LAC does not fill the WR Need in round 1, they will be having a problem later on. All the top WR would be gone and only „#.2“ Guys are available, which doesn’t help to much. Also, so many other good quality guys and needs available, would be tough to miss out on them because you have to take a tier 4/5 WR instead of a Tier2/3 CB or Tier 2 IOL for example
Texans have king and ward at slot… they also have plenty of guys that get YAC. Christian Mahogany is the right pick at 86. Safety, Texans are slim At Safety… ward on last year and Jalen Petri took a step back last year.
I've seen the big 3 edges go before they fall to the bucs in many drafts but I have yet to see one where they trade up and do a later pick swap like Washington did in this one. Why is that?
I’m not a fan of the Carolina draft simply because I think WR needs to be one of the second round picks. I love Frazier (this center class is deep) and melton but if it was me I would go Legette or Worthy at 33 then melton or Sainristil at 39
gb paid up a 4th to move up 4 spots to 21 in 2020. no way are they giving up 91 to move up to 22....but yeah that would be the one guy they trade up for. props on that. PHI needs secondary too tho, so idk if philly is the team that does it
If the Giants can't move up or down, and if only move up for Maye or Caleb (the mock draft simulator I just used actually had Chicago and Was pass on Caleb😂), i liked your draft.
Not even a chargers fan but no shot they don’t take a wr with there second 1st rounder if they trade back. Especially if AD only goes a couple picks later to the bills
i think if there's a top 3 center at pittsburghs 2nd pick they definitely go for that position, i know they need WR help badly so i can also see them trading up to make that happen
Definitely want a wide receiver for Carolina we only had a handful of #1 quality receivers since being a franchise and hope they select one within the first 2 picks
Hate the pick for Seattle. If Fautanu and Fuaga are gone, I hope they take Murphy or Bowers. Otherwise try to get that trade down. JPJ just isn't a player Seattle should stick and pick for.
Not at 13 if they want to draft him in the 1st for the overrated 5th year option they would probably trade down. I don't think Penix makes it out of rd 1 but it could happen either way they could always give up some draft capital from next years draft (which is not as good) and get back into the tail end of the 1st or early 2nd. Thank god we have an actual GM who won't overpay we need to get a CB, OT and G and as a purely selfish move I want Fiske so badly our pass rush would be lethal. I'd like to get a WR in rounds 3-5 if one of them slips down the board.
@jameshannagan4256 trading down is taking a chance someone else gets what you want. The Seahawks have Penix's college offensive coordinator and an aging starter. I wouldn't trade down the hawks who have pick #16. Stay at 13, take Penix, and use round 2 and three for O line and CB help.
L mock draft for the falcons if Dallas tuner at 8 get him we can get a CB later n if Ladd there at 43 I’ll draft him over b get a Saftery at 74 n get a LB at 79
Agreed on pretty much everything you said here for the Falcons in every single round. I don't know why everyone keeps forgetting Dee Alford when talking about our CB's he has put up a 70+ pff grade 2 years in a row and is a very very good CB. Our top 3 CB's are a heck of alot better than just 1 ebeketie at edge rusher. If this sorry azz falcons front office skips on a 1st round edge rusher with 3 top tier ones available to them. After skipping one of the best free agent and trade available edge groups in a long long time. The how damn front office needs to be fired this crap is getting old. I wouldn't touch a CB til the 3rd round and mitchell who is a solid player wouldn't even be my 1st choice at CB arnold would and even he i wouldn't take in the 1st round over any of the 3 edge players or the top 3 WR's. Sorta tired of seeing Friske and Hall and Wingo and Newton guys drafted to us to over a true NT like Sweat, Mckinnley etc... We have tons of 3-4 edge players in Grady, Onyemata, Zach Harrison, Taquan Graham, and probably campbell coming back. We literally have the half dead body of 3x retired eddie goldman as our only NT. You can't trust that bum to not retire again and this scheme required a NT to run it correctly like they did with Gaines and Brown for the Rams.
Braden Fiske sucks for the Houston Texans at #42. He is an edge rusher trying to play at defensive tackle. The dude is terrible against the run. Your pick of Fiske here is a waste pick! 🍋Perhaps in the years to come, DeMeco Ryans came move him to edge. Mike Sainristil at #59. Glad you like him, but hopefully, the Texans don’t take him. We need safety or a linebacker here, more than we need a nickel corner. Bold or stupid??? Maliachi Corley? The Texans need a safety, a linebacker, and a tight end. So, naturally take a wide out with the #86 pick. Instead of picking for need, you take a “bold” pick. 😂 Corley may begin to contribute in 2025. 🤦♀🤦♀🤦♀
@@LSH99 It's a fine mock overall, but Atlanta will take an edge rusher, come on, and there is no way Murphy goes in the top 10. I agree with the Rams, Colts and Jags picks, but I hope Cincy can get Latu, Dejean or Thomas. They might regret passing on Dejean because their corners can't tackle and neither of them is a true #1 corner, and moving Hill to corner is questionable..
@@johnhitz1185 Absurd based on what? Your own scouting? You can't say the Bears don't have a pass rush/DL need. In fact, it's much easier to argue a need there than at WR3.
@@LSH99 You think Murphy is a good value at #10 with Odunze, the top edge rushers, Brock Bowers on the board? Byron Murphy played next to Sweat and could tee off even when playing the nose. Something wrong with a premiere receiver, TE or OT to help a rookie QB? I think the Bears might trade down from # 9, but not for Murphy at #10. Absurd imo. An opinion based on reading, so what?

I don't think I've seen a mock you did this year with NE trading back. Disappointing.
There’s still one more mock coming…
Washington & Daniels don't seem to be getting along 🤭
All the more reason to pick him. 😮
Still makes no sense, Nfl & Pats had to rig the first pics😅
Why did you not get Xavier worthy for the panthers at 33
All carolina fans want a wr that can get open and catch 😂
Those are the best kind!😂
I want a center before that. But for sure that too!
Definitely want a wide receiver for Carolina we only had a handful of #1 quality receivers since being a franchise and hope they select one within the first 2 picks
Had the mock to soon, NE open for business
We gut one more mock coming next Wednesday and NE will trade out of 3!
Why would the eagles trade down when Terrion Arnold on the board 😭
I feel like I want Arnold in a more man based scheme so that’s why I love the GB fit but I don’t hate him going to Philly either trust me!
Hate the pick for Seattle. If Fautanu and Fuaga are gone, I hope they take Murphy or Bowers. Otherwise try to get that trade down.
JPJ just isn't a player Seattle should stick and pick for.
If McConkey goes to Baltimore first round I’ll give you my life savings
Him or a trade for Aiyuk would have me terrified of Baltimore!
Wow Polk and Paul no not just no hell no Worthy or Walker later then u could have taken Morgan at 32 no way they want to give up a bunch for Paul
I like Morgan for them at 32! You may or may not be into what I’m gonna predict for my last mock
All defense for Rams ain't happening.. Sean mcvay is a offensive minded coach
Will you be live for the draft?
Not this year! Posting quick thoughts for all 32 picks tho via shorts!
@@teej11 nice
i love the new York Giants
Is this guy a Packers fan? Why does he hate us (Bears)? 😩
I don’t! BMurph is my top defense player in the class and I think would be a force for Matt E’s defense!
Very good choices for my Lions
Glad you like the picks!! Thanks for watching!
Rams are not passing on olu fashu if he's there at 19.... rams are not staying at 19
There is no way Penix makes it to the 2nd. Raiders will need to take him at 13.
Also think it makes sense to take them in the 1st, just to get that 5th year option
I’m gonna get him into the first for the next mock!
@@maxharrison6512 From what I read it's not really that big of a priority for teams to get it.
What about wash. At 100?
D Maye is Trubisky 2.0 y'all draft Dudes will never learn. Atleast JJ andPenix wins unlike Maye. SMDH
Lions picks all reaches and you must be a cardinals fan lol
🤦♀🤦♀🤦♀
Why would the Bears pass on Odunze for a 4th?
Did you listen to his explanation? It's not unreasonable.
@@LSH99 Yes, I listened to the explanation and it is unreasonable from the Bears point of view. The explanation was "This would be good for the Jets and the Bears did this before"
Teej does good work I'm not bashing him, but passing on a certified blue chip at position of need for a 4th round pick is just silly
my guyyy
My guy!!
Tell us you don't know how the Bengals without telling us you don't. They would never trade a top 100 asset for a TE
I think Bowers is more than your run of the mill TE. None the less I hear what you’re saying
We dont latu we wont turner
The patriots will ruin drake maye. They have a sorry offensive coaching staff with one of the worst rosters in the nfl.
Wedding? Come on man!
Hey imma still be working through it! 😂
