Omg this is crazy! Like an alternate universe. Imagine if a few months down the road, Adrien joins his father (soon knowing he’s hawkmoth) to both revive the love of their lives, only to have Marinette come back into his life and throw everything off while she tries everything to bring Adrien back to the good side. Then he has to choose between helping his father with his mother or coming back to Marinette assuming he has the strength to.
I swear, it’s sad that people would rather blame misfortune on stuff like “fate” instead of being able to just accept that it happened. Why not spare yourself the pain?

I just want to say this is not so far from the truth of Adrien, he is very protective and I can see that he is very similar with his father.
