You have great game knowledge yet still see new things and mention what you don't know while you keep up great camera movement and commentary. Awesome. Subbed both your channels. will like every vid. Also, not to make this too long, but I have a suggestion ( uh oh ) . Really liked the tribute video to veteran compeador and thought, maybe you could do a tribute to each faction? Like a big video on the best games for each faction. from most solid to most unique play. Anyways, just glad you are out here.
Play very defensively - lp2, mines, a turret or two in good positions may be crucial. Also, very good and careful execution with the army, can give Dark Eldar a hard time. But of course this is not possible on all the maps, especially the open ones, such as Outer Reaches, Quest's Triumph etc.
SM turret is by far not "the worst turret in the game" That goes to Sisters' turrets. SM, Chaos and Eldar do the same damage vs infantry, only IG is better and Necrons is worse. SM, Chaos and Eldar do the best against vehicles (with Eldar slightly better against veh. high) and then Necrons with IG worst. Only vs buildings is SM worst, otherwise Sisters lose at everything else. Chaos and Necron have Highest hit points at 1125, then IG with 25 less, then SM and Sisters at 900 and Eldar at 790. So, not the best but definitely not the worst. Waaagh! banners do not compare unless they are upgraded once and then still pretty shabby against the others, but they are not really turrets.
I would count banners as turrets. Area denial. And yeah the damage sucks but you always but it near another turret. Necron turrets seem to be the best in testing. Sob turrets aren't that bad but there not good.
In the first game couldn't SM have made Tempests? They're only a little bit more expensive but have disruption and AV and pass over terrain, seems like a much better deal

this is the most broken mu in game, ive only lost it once in my life as a de around 3 am after like 5 hours of non stop dow. i remember beating rafik like 10:0 in this mu and each and every game i was playing with one hand while practising guitar scales with the other lol
if you can micro with them i guess you can add snipers in all the match ups, whenever economy allows, but you have to make sure you do not lose the squads, as they are expensive... They can pay off big time if positioned and controlled well, but may get caught randomly by infantry/vehicles that can jump
That doesn't really work against heavy infantry and light infantry with more troops than normal. After T2, it's better to keep scouts for recon than assault. Lost too many games against AI that way. Their firing rate is to blame cause though they can kill light infantry easily, heavy infantry could take two to three shots to kill. That tactic could work if you constrict your opponent to T1 while you reach T3. 4-6 squads of scouts with sniper rifle couldn't deal with a t2 army. They get team wiped
Astro de is not slightly OP then sm. They much stronger like Mixa showed in first game. If de plays smart he always got better eco and simply overmassed.

I don't get the disdain for turrets. They're important, as you can see by the first game where SM just lets DE walk all over him. Also, assault marines where? Too many jetbikes from DE trying to cheese a win, preventing timely T2. Corrosion and Talos is DE's T2 offensive anti-vehicle for Dark Foundry route, not scourges or raiders. As for the second game, way too much fair play by the DE. The key to making the hall of blood route work is Screams of the Damned, and in tier 2, two raiders to put the warriors in. Warriors are too frail and short ranged to have slugging matches, their enemies should be broken and slowed by torture amp.
Well, I do agree with Astro that mines would have been better than the turrets in the 1st and 3rd games. Any turret without lp2 support will go down fairly quickly to Hellions who have better armour vs turrets than other jump trumps. Also RJBs take much more damage from mines than turrets. 2-3 mine blasts will destroy any RJBs in the AoE.

Playing as a new one Space Marine vs Dark Eldar is stupid as f. If yuo don`t play perfectly it is lost game from start, and the only thing enemy needs to do is to jump in and autoreinforce. I have enough of this and will kick every dark eldar player from my 1vs1. I like to play DC multiplayer, but you need hours to find a few games. No suprise this game is almost dead, beside a few elite ones 1vs1 and heresy of long team games. I love mechanics of DOW, but there is no way to play it. Probably it`s lore thing coz, Dark Eldar are the fkers no one wants to play with.

'Slightly in Dark Eldar favor'? I just feel like the Hellions are too hard to counter while the Dark Eldars gets NO pressure while building Hellions.
Maybe not slightly, if we think about early game. But overall the match up can be okay if the SM plays perfectly.

I agree. Defense works well against de unless they have commanders.
Hellions are very expensive though and are only infantry high. They cost similar to reinforce as assault terminators.
Dark eldar did well in all matches. He needed to make a talos in the 2nd game. They kill dreadnoughts easily. He should also fix economy when possible

I wonder how viable is massing snipers as SM and when it would be good to do that because unlike eldar snipers, scouts snipers actually do kill stuff

I like to play DC multiplayer, but you need hours to find a few games.
No suprise this game is almost dead, beside a few elite ones 1vs1 and heresy of long team games. I love mechanics of DOW, but there is no way to play it.
Probably it`s lore thing coz, Dark Eldar are the fkers no one wants to play with.
