Great video mate and a great way to start kids into fishing, I have never seen nor caught these crabs I used to chase muddies and blue swimmers but haven’t for some time now but we are moving to mission beach area and not sure if they catch them up there but would be keen to give it a go. Just a question, where is most of the meat ?
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it. They really are good fun. Most of the meat is pretty much in the body, there’s stuff all meat in the legs and nippers. They are so tasty though, much nicer than sand crab or mud crab. Very sweet
I do a lot of cooking and i believe between the spanner crab and mudcrabs you have access to the best tasting crab and fish Barri so I'd be doing some red and white sauces fettuccine with Marinara and Parmesan cheese Also white Marinara with or some type of fried crab anyway you made a sandwich alright step out and be daring in your future cooking
Nice work never had spanner crab didn’t think u get much meat out of them but it looked like u got a bit out of 2 lm a sand crab and Moreton bay bug man myself but great video mate 👍
Thanks mate. Muchly appreciated. I was surprised too aye. The body was just packed full of meat. The legs were more effort then they were worth, but such a sweet tasting meat. 👌
@@BrisVegasFishing really? You catch it but don’t eat it? It’s something like a sand crab but harder shell inside. Bring it to my house it won’t last that long😂
Your kid knows what's good 👍
She loves her seafood aye 😂
