- The E36 Ringtool gets a fresh coat of paint (on the inside and engine bay mind you, you still have to look at the fading clearcoat...for now). We tackle some annoying jobs, and we get to do more @Nightride inspired sanding jobs.
So yeah, 4 doors more fun!

I cannot tell you just how invested I am in this build! 3D scanning and printing cutout templates? Careful, someone might accuse you of being professional.

A lot of people recommend using dry ice to remove sound deadening.
Honestly....heat gun works just as good.....if your planning is good 🤣🤣🤣

Thats awesome to hear! We're also really hyped about the DTC cars but as erratic and chaotic as we are....we really need to finish the red car first seeing as we at least all need 1 functioning car do to some ringtrips and trackdays in 😆

I still feel you need to check the focusing system on that camera you guys are using....it jumps alot and it would probably be better for you guys to use a Focus point rather than it being on the full grid. (What camera are you using?)
Oh man yeah we're having so much issues with it...but probably because we're absolute noobs at anything camera related. We're using a Sony A7 III. Thanks for the tip man, really appreciatie it.

@@ericn7698 We have a spray can of this white substance you can wipe off, that really helps with scanning difficult object. Not sure what it's called, but it's specially for 3D scanning

What Software did you use to overlap both 3d mesh?
Fusion 360! We also use it for making the 3D models to print. Pretty cool stuff...steep learning curve tho 🤣, but nothing a youtube tutorial cant fix

@@BasEerdenKeuning Het verwerken, het scannen gaat opzich vrij vlot. Alleen wat je ermee wilt doen bepaalt een beetje hoe lang je er mee bezig bent.

Honestly, I'm (Djessey) am extremely impatient, and the only reason I'm doing things the right way(most of the time...) is because I've experienced first hand how it will come and bite me in the ass later....😆😅
