I almost didn't watch this one (video titles that don't tell you what the finished object is are a pet peeve of mine) but got sucked in by the super-cute fabric. Figured I'd click on it & skip to the end just to see what it was, and liked the bag so much that I ended up watching the whole video after all. I've been looking for a good fat quarter friendly gift and this might be just the thing.
@@carolynnilsen9270 I make these and sell them at tradeshows, they do take more than 15 minutes per project but I usually make more than one at once so you do all the cutting/ ironing and then the marking, then the sewing, etc.
this is not a 15 minute project. The actual video was almost 15 minutes and I really dislike it when I don’t know what the finish product looks like. The rules are I will not be disrespectful. However, I do feel that the person presenting should not be disrespectful to me either.
@@cathydanzinger4738 There are lots of tutorials on you tube for beginning quilters. You can sew your lines however you like, basically. Hers looks like about 2” apart. There is no wrong way. You can go vertical or horizontal also.

@@cathydanzinger4738 whatever ruler she is using, it’s the gap in between those lines. As someone said it does look about 2 inches. I suggest you do a trial run to find the sizing you like. You don’t need to sew just use paper and pencil. Do remember with a bit of padding in it will be a very little bit smaller. Good luck. By the way you can slow this down to almost stop, it’s the little wheel top right on screen. You need to tap on it and a drop down menu appears, Try it then when you get closer to it stop it. There is another function by lifting the air at the bottom of the screen you can literally see each screen, Good luck again.O.k. I rewound looked for that part exactly, zoomed in, each square is 5 cm square which is 2 inches good rule of thumb is 10 cms is 4 inches.

Maybe 15 minutes to quilt the fabric but more like 45 minutes to make the whole thing. I make them a lot and wish I could get it down to 15 minutes.
