    To help control water under your deck you could have installed a bladder system. It’s a sheet of rubber that lays over all of the floor joints and pitches to one end causing the water to drain and usually it would drop into a gutter. Just something I’ve seen. Everything is looking great

    Thanks for the update man! My husband and I were waiting for it! Thanks for your honesty, we’re about to be done with a house in the next two weeks and we don’t know what to do next. Houston is big with the storage units. Husband is a concrete plant manager and he sees a lot of people doing the storage units. That may be the way to go. We need to branch out. Your house is looking so nice! Don’t pay attention to the negative comments, they can only wish to do the things that you do!

    Hey Case. Don't see any gutters on your house. Did I miss them? From my experience, they are probably the most cost effective, and efficient, means of controlling the water runoff from your roof. Especially as it relates to the splash back from the ground that can stain your stucco, and cause foundation issues. Just a thought.

    Your plans for future projects are on point! The content that might come from those projects will be rare and very insightful. Keep doing what you're doing bro we are learning a lot from you. But most importantly you're helping people build up the courage to take on projects on their own which is the best part of the channel imo.

    I used to work with 3 drafting companies that specialized in storage buildings/RV storage and I can tell you those building are going up like crazy! Storage buildings is definitely something your should look into! However, I love your residential builds too, man! keep those going! I'm tuning in every time from San Antonio and I'll still be here along your journey. Feel free to reach out whenever you have down time. YOU ARE KILLING IT CASE.

    Hey Case, I am also from Texas myself, down here in Corpus Christi, and my dad was a home builder when he got out of college for civil engineering. I love your channel and have been following your TikTok since day 1. In college right now for my degree in architecture, I'm hoping to be a home builder myself because of all the development down here. In Corpus, there's lots of development as the city grows south. Compared to Houston, the land is relatively cheap. For future work, have you ever considered doing development work in Nueces County, or do you think you'd stay within the Houston area?

    Go with what you know Case. Don’t diversify just yet! A storage has its own dynamics. Build some more rental properties like the 10plex or the 4plex. Then build some bigger projects. Storage is its own business… do this after you have leveraged your skill in the first thing enough :))

    If your interested i have 17 acres of residential and 5 acres commercial in tannersville PA outside of the premium outlet malls and near a lot of attraction. I’m holding on to it until i build up more capitals or run into someone i like who’s trying to do something big plus thats exactly the challenge your asking for
    34 half acre lots and build a community
    The money will be great but who else is doing that on UA-cam.

    Case I saw the ad on UA-cam the other day it’s a rubber piece almost like the rubber your use to put a screen up in a porch and it goes in between the trex boards you can do it after install, it’s meant for 2nd story decks to be waterproof and not drip below to the first floor, that would be perfect

    Multi-family housing would be cool to see. Another one Im getting into is building with adobe. It's a forgotten art that cuts costs in half. Dirt is cheap, and we dont need to pay for much lumber, no drywall or insulation. You wanna keep your buildings, and an adobe home will last 10x plus as long as a stick framed one will. No one is doing it, so that will be something different and new.

Some of things you mentioned to do after this.. sounds like you actually need a million to do those things... lol

    build multi family homes centered around air bnb hotspots. I don't know much about Texas, but I do know an investor who makes a lot of money from airbnb alone renting to Corporate employees that need to travel. A lot more money than average rental rates due to the short term ease of availability. Talk about risky investments, there's your pick. Just be sure to shout me out if you get rich 😂

      The title, as you said, is, "Building my own pool". This does not say that he built the pool with his own hands. It simply says that his pool was built. You interpreting that as him building the pool himself is wrong. If the title was, "I built my own pool", then that would be a lie as you said, but what he said is correct because his pool was built.

    • @RJ-cc1fz
      @RJ-cc1fz 3 місяці тому

      @@robynyarbrough9575 it is implying that he built it.. like somehow him paying to have it built means that he built it.. I understand what your saying. It doesn’t say “I” built my own pool but it also doesn’t say “having” my pool built.. There’s a lot of contractors out there (I used to work for one) that act like they built it when in fact the only people that actually knew how to build it were the people that he paid to do it.. It takes a lot of time energy knowledge skill to learn how to build a pool, more so the full ability to build an entire house. To not distinguish “I” or “have” is disrespectful to those of us that actually do the work
