Seen Ruts DC supporting The Stranglers on their tour a couple of years ago. Still great live and playing really good music. The Henry Rollins/Paul Fox documentary is a must watch. Rip Malcolm and Paul
Not long before guitarist Paul Fox died, The Ruts got back together for a single gig with Henry Rollins taking Malcolm's place. It's on UA-cam, and it's well worth a look. There's also a four part series of videos by Henry about how it all happened that's worth a look too.
Amazing! What did you think of their Paul Fox fundraiser with Rollins? ua-cam.com/play/PLwYOckftm8zQbgHFSX36F0ePp4pI2Sjic.html Also I would have loved seeing that Damned reunion with James and Scabies!!
Decent reaction ,there were some great bands around late 70s and early 80s this song Another that captured, then spat out the energy anger and mayhem of those days.. musically it was great having heavy metal that I followed at the time ,but I loved this stuff too ... you have to do Sham 69 ! Borstal breakout ,Hersham boys etc..great stuff ,!
Oooh, no one ever mentions Clapton's racist rant! You are a truth bomber lol heheh but seriously, great reaction and sharing background! Just yesterday I stumbled on Henry Rollins telling the tale of joining the Ruts for a reunion show. And just now I found the concert playlist! "Up the punx!" ua-cam.com/play/PLwYOckftm8zQbgHFSX36F0ePp4pI2Sjic.html
@@InsignificantNick He did a spoken word tour where the subject was the Ruts and his subsequent singing for the ruts as goodbye to the terminally ill guitarist. Both parts of spoken word is on YT. So is the whole live gig. Part 1 of spoken word ua-cam.com/video/3hUMVDp24lI/v-deo.htmlsi=SH33kYJ86UMv_Umz
Great reaction, this is the sound of my teenage years. Loved all the punk and new wave bands of the time and good to see you covering so many of them.

The memories! Back when music was raw and real. Take me back!

Great Band, Would love to see more reactions from The Skids, Especially "The Saints are Coming".
Top band, I'm sure you'd love their songs "Dope for Guns" and the Live version of "In a Rut".
If you want to hear a different side to the ruts try jah wars. Top tune. Don't forget the stranglers would love to hear more from them.
Fantastic band, check out “Something That I Said” so sad about Malcolm
So pleased that you reacted to this after I nagged you for months. It's a genuine punk classic.
They are still a great live band now called Ruts DC. Saw them last year supporting the Stranglers

Something That I Said by The Ruts is a good one to react to.
They are still touring today.
First time I think I've heard this. I'm going to have to look into The Rut's some more I think!

Great band
the best post punk band ever
Check out ' West One Shine On Me ' as well please..its phenomenal.
The extended dubby version is good.
Live they were completely and brilliantly, dysfunctional... Jah War is still a favourite.
I'd LOVE it if you ever tried The Subhumans - Subvert City or Relgious Wars.... or for similarly dysfunctional band...Blitz - New Age

Don’t get anything like this anymore unfortunately ❤
Reaction request for Lemon by U2. You haven’t reacted to anything off Zooropa for a while.
Malcolm dies way too you. The heroin took him. Great frontman.
Nick check it this classic “Holiday In Cambodia” - The Dead Kennedys.
Stiff Little Fingers - Alternative Ulster.
