I quite agree with the comments, sometimes that type of enthusiast are worse than a train full football supporters, same problem on the last Mid-Hants Gala I did, the train was full of drunken northerners standing on the table using bad language and shouting. It got to the stage you could not hear the locos and I spent the rest of the day at the back of the trains.
I had a very good day, at lease these people pay alot of money for tickets and beer which the railway needs, not like the one's that just take photo's, go and play on a kettle and let us have are diesel thrash hellfire!I had no booze as I was driving and waved my hands for all I was worth, what a high it was great. You can't blame the drink for the swearing thats just the way people are these day's.
Well the northern accent was a good give away that it is, as most rail events I have been to it has been northerners causing problems Railtours too on the main line, but I take your point that there maybe some non-northerners that cause problems too.
They should all be removed from the railway. Dangerous and embarrassing behaviour for both them, the normal enthusiasts and the railway for allowing it
Excellent footage! Definitely the best video of the weekend that there is on UA-cam.

As a C&W volunteer I hated diesel gala and I'm glad they ditched it. All the drunk diesel fans just completely destroyed our coaches.
