I think the depths is the best place to grind since ancient isle you can catch a lot of horrible fish, but he is catching good fish from there because he has a very good rod and the legendary at ancient isle are very hard to catch if you don't have a really good rod but there is a lot of better fish at the depths that are much easier to catch and much easier to get legendary and mythical from the depths
