He is totally toxic, and Yuzu probably was somehow justified to be scared of him, as told by the flashback, but what told speak of an toxic, aggressive, obsessive,possessive and egocentric personality. These kind of people can make you miserable even by staying in your surroundings. See how he spoken for Yuzu at the presentation. Also while there wasn't physical abuse, how he did treat Ken at the beginning was certainly psychological abuse. I won't comment for the pregnancy as both showed a little concern to have impregnated a minor (probably around 15?), as while the culprit was Ken, the fact Yaya wasn't minimally surprised or questioning the paternity before birth, means that he did tried the same. Pregnancies at that age can carry additional risks.

Actually, this is the exact same scenario. In the vast majority of cases, that genre is about how the mc is undeserving of the partner because the other person meets the partner's needs better. This can include financially, romantically, whatever. What you didn't realize is that, in this story, the "mc" is actually the bully. But same difference. The best stories of this genre are usually the ones with the twist ending that the perfect mc was terrible all along, meaning the partner was truly saved, just like in this story.
The mc here is the villain. He f***ed someone else's girl. The antagonist is so pacifist that he didn't even through a single punch to yuzu even when she cheated and decieved him for months.

She found a confidant in the protagonist and they developed feelings for each other they slept together and were secretly seeing each other behind his back The event made a plan to go to the same school together so she can finally use the long distance to end the relationship, but he ended up following after her and it practically ruined everything and then next thing she knew she was pregnant and if she had told the villain who knows what he would have done to her so the option at the moment was for her to pretend it was the villain's child to keep her and the baby safe.

I honestly feel like everyone sucks here. Yuya is a total jerk and treated everyone horribly. However, Yuzu cheated on him behind his back for at least a year and allowed him to think the kid was his. Ken is also to blame since he's the one who told Yuzu to cheat in the first place. Not to mention he KNEW the kid was his and chose to rub dirt in the wound by humiliating Yuya in a swimming competition in front of the entire class.

If the plant had worked, but he ended up going to the same school, so because of that, it had to be scrapped And she couldn't just really go and say that The baby was another man's child. So she pretended like it was his in order to keep both her and the baby safe because who knows what he would have done to her

Yuya may had his insecurities and a temper but the dude was LOYAL. Just because he was a jerk, doesn't justify cheating. And the fact that Ken and Yuzu KNEW about this and still lead him on, that makes them more villainous if anything. If this was irl we'd be vilifying both of them. They were dead wrong for what they did. Ken may have been a jerk but this was straight up evil.
Did you miss the part where he was unpleasantly clingy before high school and physically violent with her in the hospital (he was shaking her)? And got physical with the MC when a demanded answers? Yuzu already didn't like him because of his behavior, and even tried to get away from him by going to a different school, but he followed her (after he said he was mad at her). I don't think playing devil's advocate would work here. Cheating is bad, but when it happens to someone with a bad nature it's well deserved (Note: it also applies to when cheaters/homewreckers get cheated on).

I don't recall him getting "physical" with Yuzu at the hospital but she blatantly lied to his face in which she had him care for someone else's son. She can say he was clingy and controlling, but others could say he was loving and loyal, especially considering he tried his best to stay with her. He was insecure but he was loyal and dedicated to her. Meanwhile these two not only cheated, they also lied, amd they stole time and money, looking out for a kid that wasnt his. That was FAR worse than anything he did. And the fact that they conspired together makes it more scummy. There's no justification for their actions. She should've just broke up with him rather than be a coward. And SHE DEFINITELY should've came clean when the child wasn't his.
